OpenInv
Open anyone's inventory or ender chest and modify it in real time! Works with offline players!
Description
This plugin allows you to open any player's inventory or ender chest and interact with it in real time. You can also do it for offline players! This includes access to the armor slots as well as being able to drop items as if you were the player by moving them into the unused slots to the bottom right. Additionally, you can open any chest that is blocked with blocks above it with AnyContainer and open containers silently (no sound or opening animation) with SilentContainer.
Features
- OpenInv: Open anyone's inventory, even if they're offline.
- Read-only mode! Don't grant edit permission.
- Cross-world support! Allow access only from the same world.
- No duplicate slots! Only armor is accessible when opening self (if allowed at all)!
- Drop items as the player! Place items in the dropper slot in the bottom right. Can be disabled via permission!
- Allow any item in armor slots! Configurable via permission.
- OpenEnder: Open anyone's ender chest, even if they're offline.
- Allow access only to own ender chest! Don't grant permission to open others.
- Read-only mode! Don't grant edit permission.
- Cross-world support! Allow access only from the same world.
- SilentContainer: Open containers without displaying an animation or making sound.
- AnyContainer: Open containers, even if blocked by ocelots or blocks.

Posted Sep 7, 2013This plugin does not support the * permission node.
Is that on purpose?
Using groupmanager.

lishid mentioned a few posts down that you could open the jar and edit plugin.yml and remove the /enderchest alias.

Posted Aug 31, 2013This take priority over essentials's /enderchest
I give a rank /enderchest access, But it says they can't open it because this takes priority. /echest works, but alot of people know it was /enderchest

Will investigate.
@DrakonisVaughan
You give OpenInv.override to your user only. There are a bunch of permission plugins out there, or you can use the built in bukkit permission manager. I'm not quite up to date on these plugins so you might want to search up on them.

The test version I posted should have no problem. At worst, one can edit plugin.yml and remove /enderchest as an alias.

I don't have literally any java experience whatsoever xD In fact, I've never written a line of code in my entire life! But, I do appreciate the fast reply. I'll just have to keep snooping around the plugins list here :P
Keep up the good work with with OpenInv though... I love it xD

Hmm that's some advanced specifications there... I suggest modding this plugin for that purpose, as I don't think you can quite achieve all that with this plugin itself.
If you can program in Java, I can point to you where you want to hook up to OpenInv, or you can clone the entire plugin and modify it to your needs.

Posted Aug 8, 2013This is one of my favorite plugins but I had to remove it due to a plugin conflict with essentials. After the update I could not longer keep this for some reason. I have donor classes that have the /enderchest command. This plugin conflicts that of essentials. If you do not have the enderchest perm for openinv, you can't use your essentials perm. If you have the perm, you can open an enderchest, and anyone elses enderchest, but you can't modify it's contents. If you have the perm to modify enderchests, you can modify anyone's. I didn't think it was this plugin conflicting it but after removing it, there were no more problems.

go to /plugins/pluginmetrics/
and there's a config there that you can disable.

Posted Aug 2, 2013Hey lishid,
Just wondering if there is anyway to disable metrics? For some reason, the server returns a 502 error every ten minutes or so and it's getting quite annoying, especially since it's not actually sending anything to you.
Regards, Xavier
