OpenInv
Open anyone's inventory or ender chest and modify it in real time! Works with offline players!
Description
This plugin allows you to open any player's inventory or ender chest and interact with it in real time. You can also do it for offline players! This includes access to the armor slots as well as being able to drop items as if you were the player by moving them into the unused slots to the bottom right. Additionally, you can open any chest that is blocked with blocks above it with AnyContainer and open containers silently (no sound or opening animation) with SilentContainer.
Features
- OpenInv: Open anyone's inventory, even if they're offline.
- Read-only mode! Don't grant edit permission.
- Cross-world support! Allow access only from the same world.
- No duplicate slots! Only armor is accessible when opening self (if allowed at all)!
- Drop items as the player! Place items in the dropper slot in the bottom right. Can be disabled via permission!
- Allow any item in armor slots! Configurable via permission.
- OpenEnder: Open anyone's ender chest, even if they're offline.
- Allow access only to own ender chest! Don't grant permission to open others.
- Read-only mode! Don't grant edit permission.
- Cross-world support! Allow access only from the same world.
- SilentContainer: Open containers without displaying an animation or making sound.
- AnyContainer: Open containers, even if blocked by ocelots or blocks.

Posted Apr 9, 2013@lishid They can shift click from their inventory. So they wouldn't be clicking the openinv window, just their inventory.

Hmm I haven't done anything with enchantments yet... Maybe this will be planned for the future.
@DanielMullaly
Weird... When someone doesn't have the edit permission, all window click actions are denied. How is it that you can add stuff?

Posted Apr 8, 2013Can you fix it so people can't add items to peoples' inventories without the edit permission?
Thanks, love your plugin.

Posted Apr 8, 2013Hi guys, this plugin is fantastic but I'm wondering if there's a way that I can search for what I call God items which are essentially items with high levels of enchantment. Been chasing my tail trying to figure out a solution for that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated or potentially this could be a feature request.
Best, JAG100

Thank you, deleting the /enderchest alias makes OpenInv+Essentials work together as a charm again.

Oh, sorry about that, I misread... OpenInv has a alias for those commands. Look inside plugin.yml inside the jar file (rename it to OpenInv.zip and check inside). YOu can edit the aliases for each command.
Also, I'll be making self openender only feature soon.

Well I got that point but according to OpenInv info, this plugin has no /enderchest command, it has /openender command. Even giving essentials.enderchest privileges to my users they are not able to open their enderchests since OpenInv 2.0.1 was installed (reverting to 2.0.0 makes this work again but OpenInv features don't work so...). When doing /enderchest command a message arrives from OpenInv plugin: "You have not permissions to open players enderchests" and they do! they have essentials.enderchest but OpenInv just overriden it since 2.0.1
Setting OpenInv.openender + OpenInv.editender permissions make my premium players not to only take a look and manipulate their enderchest, they can take a look at anybody enderchests, even manipulate it and giving all players OpenInv.exempt does not prevent it... ¬¬ That's why I used essentials.enderchest permission, just to give players access to their OWN enderchests and manipulate their content. Now OpenInv overrides it, how can I fix this to my players only open and edit remotely their enderchests?
Maybe I missed something or misconfigured something...I'm a person too, but some useful (and tested) help should be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Read from plugin description above: Use command "/openender <Player>" to open a player's enderchest
"OpenInv.openender" - Allows opening of EnderChests "OpenInv.editender" - Allows editing of enderchest

Posted Apr 5, 2013Release 2.0.1 of OpenInv is conflicting with Essentials plugin, /enderchest command does not work even giving properly permissions. Denied access message comes from openInv plugin when it does not even have a /enderchest command.
Please fix this ASAP.
PS: As I recall, this is a OpenInv bug, since 2.0.1 release. Older releases let Essentials /enderchest command work properly.

Posted Apr 1, 2013OpenInv aswell as Orebfuscator both don't work. They both show up in red when doing: /plugins and both don't do anything.
I'm running CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-751 (MC: 1.5.1) (Implementing API version 1.5.1-R0.1-SNAPSHOT). New log: http://pastie.org/7272898 Has many errors I know. I'm using lastest dev builds of BKcommonlib and Protlib. Any fix?

Posted Apr 1, 2013Would it be possible to have a permission for
OpenInv.openender.self OpenInv.editender.self
Because if people could use that it would save having a separate plugin. Currently only staff have this plugin but it would be nice if players could use an enderchest virtually.
thanks
