As of version 0.3, this mod allows you to craft string using wool and grass blocks using seeds and dirt blocks.
*(Edit) Now Possible to craft Mossy Cobblestone with Cobblestone and Seeds

Posted Aug 26, 2011I know you ain't making block but here are a few for future references
Smooth Stone Steps and other versions of steps.
Keep items upon death maybe?
Light up signs.
Weapons, armour and other tools as actual blocks. e.g. sword as an block instead of a sword or maybe both, right click drops it as a block maybe?
Other versions of slabs, and if combined with niall's idea of side slabs, then u could create window panes.
When holding a torches it actualy lights up and gives off light.

p.s. they should be called Niall Blocks
