How it works:
This plugin works by sending a player a message that says to type "/claimprize", then immediately sends them 300 lines that say "[random player] likes chicken very very very much!". A player with nodus enabled, sees:
- Type "/claimprize" to get $5000!
- (Random Player) likes chicken very very very much! [x300]
When the player types "/claimprize", his name gets put into a config file, and it gets broadcasted to all the ops on the server at that moment, for you to deal with them later.
Commands:
/prize - Sends the "Type "/claimprize" to get $5000" message to all the players on the server. THE PLUGIN DOES THIS HOURLY.
/claimprize - Writes player's name into config, and broadcasts their name for all ops to see.
Permissions:
None.
NOTE: THIS PLUGIN CONTAINS NO CODE THAT WAS ACQUIRED FROM ANOTHER PLUGIN.

Posted Mar 31, 2013Would be better if you created this earlier, also, why would you want to spam non-nodus users. That would make me quit the server. Also, Nodus took away message stacking in 1.5 due to bugs.

Posted Mar 31, 2013In theory, this plugin and the idea is great. But when put to use, it really won't help much. Here are some reasons why:
- Current version of Nodus have the collapsed messages disabled
- There are mods out there that do that feature on it's own WITHOUT nodus
- There are other custom chat mods that help filter chat in other ways
So all this plugin would do is tell you if a player is using some sort of mod that filters/collapses chat in some form. I would never deal with or ban a player just for that reason.

They didn't remove the chat stacking feature, they added an option to disable it in the config.

Posted Mar 31, 2013I absolutely love the idea of this plugin but, eventually this plugin could become well known among players like Factions or Chest Shop and they will know not to do /ClaimPrize.
