NoItem
NoItem v3.1.0 - DERP.
What does it do?
NoItem aims to allow server admins to restrict almost any aspect of players actions via permissions. Things such as placing and breaking blocks, interacting with levers and buttons, opening chests and furnaces, even breeding animals can be controlled! There are of course other things that can be restricted as well. For a complete list, check the wiki!
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Currently known issues are:
- None - Please report any found!
Currently Implemented Features (also their permissions)
- break
- place
- craft
- open
- cook
- pickup
- drop
- hold
- interact.object
- interact.entity
- use - is buggy and needs refinement
Permissions format:
- noitem.action.<action>.<object>[.secondaryValue]
- noitem.object.<object>[.secondaryValue].<action>
- Asterisk values are supported for specific actions and objects. not for all actions or objects at once. (e.g. noitem.action.* is not supported, but noitem.action.break.* is)
I am open to suggestions on what other action to implement on top of the ones I am currently working on.
A wild
button appears!
You use "CLICK". Its super effective!

You could just work around it and do:
or
117 is Brewing Stand Block and 379 is Brewing Stand. I'm not sure which would be the one to use actually, so try both.
If you need to control specific potions, you could use the noitem.nohold permission to disallow players from holding the potion. Or even the noitem.nohave permission.
The issue is being worked on at the moment, but it's a bit involved. Please be patient and try the suggested workarounds :)

Posted Jan 11, 2013Any idea when the potions will be fixed? This is the last plugin we are waiting on to update to 1.4.6. I don't want to pester you about this, I really appreciate the work you do on this as it is the only plugin that really blocks potions.

Posted Jan 10, 2013This is a known issue with the lagg. I recommend updating to the latest dev build. These have a few minor optimizations, but I am still trying to find the major cause though.
Give them the permission to allow them to use items when running in whitelist mode

Posted Jan 10, 2013The plugin is overloading the server, using lots of CPU. 2/3 times the server crashes. Do know if there is any conflicts with any other plugin? Hows your server, works fine?
I used Nolagg examine my plugins, and my minor plugin shows around 5-10ms/500 ticks and my major shows around 30-40ms/500 while NoItem have 1500-2500ms/500.

@RemlapVII Hmm... What permissions plugin do you use?
- EDIT -
Actually, i just checked if i can brew... and there isn't any restrictions going on. And i'm running whitelist mode so i don't have any of the permissions needed with the exception of being able to interact with the brewing stand. What's going on here @nala3

There are multiple potion recipes for some of the potions. I have put together a google doc spreadsheet of all possible NoItem permission, including nobrew. It might not be 100% correct, but hopefully if others help correct the errors and fill in the gaps we can get closer :) Here's the forum post for it.

Posted Jan 7, 2013I've run into an issue with the plugin when trying to deny people the ability to brew.
This is what I have set in the permissions:
Yet it doesn't block them from brewing the potion. I'm using the latest dev build of no item (3.0.3) , and bukkit 1.4.6 R3.

You need a permissions plugin that is multi-world capable. Just assign the NoItem permissions per world as you see fit.

Posted Jan 7, 2013Is it possible to make this plugin multiworld compatible, so i can only disable some items inside my creative world. I tried it by using worldguard blacklist, but some items only blocked when use on a block. Like a xp bottle is blocked but trowing in the air is enabled. Hope it can be updated

The default behavior of NoItem is to allow everything. That is to say that it will only deny actions that you set such as noitem.noplace.1.* (deny placing stone). You can invert this behavior and deny everything and allow only the things you define by setting PermsAsWhiteList: true in the config.yml file. So then noitem.noplace.1.* would allow placing stone.
