NoIPAdvertising
Have you ever seen someone advertising the IP of another server? This plugin blocks any numerical IP, in the chat and commands and sends a massage to every administrator online.
Features:
- Block every numerical ip and ports.
- Block every domains.
- You can choose what will the ip with and without port be replaced for.
- Translate file.
- Can block the message/command.
- Can send a warning to the player that is advertising.
- Send a message to every administrator online and to the console saying which player is advertising.
- Custom list of commands that will be verified.
Commands:
- /noip help = Displays all the commands.
- /noip reload = Reloads the config file.
- /noip addcommand <command> = Adds a command to the Verification List.
- /noip delcommand <command> = Removes a command from the Verification List.
- /noip setipr <replacement> = Sets the replacement for numerical IPs without port.
- /noip setportr <replacement> = Sets the replacement for numerical IPs with port.
- /noip enable <domains/numericalips> = Turns ON the Domain/Numerical IP blocker on.
- /noip disable <domains/numericalips> = Turns OFF the Domain/Numerical IP blocker on.

Todo:
- Block domains/IP in signs(suggestion of GlaswegianGamer)
- Add "Whitelist" of domains(suggestion of siemaeniu500).
- Add tempban and kick(suggestion of Mr_H4mm3r).
- Add commands to configure everything in-game.

Signs and chat would be nice, but book & quills would really change things. Oh, and item names/lores could be monitered! I hope this is possible for you. Thanks!

Posted Oct 24, 2013Good plugin. Works well with a very simple config.
although I don't think noipadvertising.mod is working. I have not tested any other permissions nodes though so they might not work either.
The only problem with this plugin is if someone times anything with a dot in it, it will block the whole message. for example what.a would be blocked, or any websites like google.com will also be blocked.
But losing the ability to type websites is worth losing the advertises.

Posted Jul 30, 2013Would you be able to make a command so that you can see what ip the person places for server admin becasue it just says is "Player [name] tried to advertise a domain". I would like this feature added becasue i cant ban ppl for advertising then akll they type is 0.0 for an emoticon.

Posted Jul 18, 2013This plugin is running fine on Bukkit 1.6.2 dev build. Can't get a IP or Domain name through to the chat. Using Hero Chat, Essentials, Factions and, Factions Chat.

Posted Mar 20, 2013I was testing this and it didn't block play.diacraft.com. I wasn't op and I was default. I'm sure I didn't had any of the perms because I tried with a normal ip and that said .... I guess it's because Essentials is editing it to play diacraft com without dots :I. Can you see if you can get your plugin to check before Essentials?
A new feature could be abilty for running a command like kick or tempban..

My server ip is: bloodmine.eu
So players can usage this in chat, but other no.
