NoCheatPlus

Detect and fight the exploitation of various flaws/bugs in Minecraft!
Introduction
NoCheatPlus attempts to prevent cheat clients from exploiting weaknesses of Minecraft or its protocol, making your server more safe. Checks cover a wide range of issues including flying and speeding, fighting hacks, fast block breaking and nukers, inventory hacks, chat spam and other types of malicious behaviour. For a more complete list have a look at the Features Page.
NoCheatPlus puts emphasis on configurability and allows you to customize actions that are carried out when a player fails a check (e.g. silent cancelling, executing commands, just logging). Bypass permissions allow to control what check to apply for which players, all checks can be deactivated in the configuration, also having the option for world-specific configuration files. Many checks allow more detailed configuration to adjust sensitivity.
Certainly NoCheatPlus is not a magical bullet, it uses a lot of heuristics and even guessing, so you will encounter false positives here and there and also not catch every single violation. Example video of how NoCheatPlus blocks cheats (outdated plugin version).
NoCheatPlus was introduced by NeatMonster, building on the code base of NoCheat by Evenprime.

The following plugins might be useful to have a look at.
ProtocolLib
Allows NoCheatPlus to activate packet-level checks, covering a range of exploits that can't be monitored using ordinary means. Since roughly Minecraft 1.7.10, the fight.speed check can't work as expected anymore, due to changes in CraftBukkit. With ProtocolLib this can be repaired.
CompatNoCheatPlus (cncp)
Make plugins like mcMMO or MachinaCraft more compatbile with NoCheatPlus. Not all existing plugins are covered (yet), but you can leave a note or create an issue/ticket request for cncp. Phasing out: Citizens 2 should work with NCP out of the box, MagicSpells are working on compatibility too - rest will be integrated into NCP.
Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator fights all sorts of X-ray-hacks by altering the map information that is sent to the players, such that they have to mine blocks to actually reveal what is behind. Virtually a "must have". (Latest versions of Spigot contain features of Orebfuscator.)

Sorry for the late answer: Hits that get detected as impossible/cheating will be canceled. I would recommend to open up a ticket and fill out everything asked for "Defect" layout and don't forget to do "/ncp info <Player>" to get all checks that cancel hits.

Posted May 31, 2015Players seem to be getting angle violations when fighting multiple zombies with build 818. They could be hacking, but I saw it happen to two players, one who has been around a long time.

This means that your system clock was changed (NoCheatPlus uses your servers clock for counting and more) and NC+ removed all check history because of it (to have accurate results again). Make sure that your servers time doesn't change too much (pls don't use atomic time adjusters or similar).

The permissions from JourneyMap should also work for Voxel.

For second you need to remove every single cancel action from that specific checks: https://github.com/NoCheatPlus/Docs/wiki/Global#actions
Be careful: Some checks will be a lot less effective if you disable setbacks!

And others, basically all...
And 1 more thing, how do I make it so when NCP thinks a player hacks, you get pulled back to block and whatnot right, so how do I disable that but still send notifications to staffs that the player may be hacking...?

That looks like testing with bypass permissions for survivalfly or being in creative mode or flying... is the jumping intended for creative mode or for survival mode players?

Could you check if adding the velocity does lead to a PlayerVelocityEvent? You can also indirectly check by testing with activating debug logging in NCP ("/ncp debug player NAME"), it should add an entry about adding velocity if the event fires (and other valuable output) . When done you can do ncp reload or use ncp remove to stop the temporary logging to the log file.

"Could not set up native access for the server-mod (git-Bukkit-b0e81a4 (MC: 1.8.6)). Please check for updates and consider to request support."

The download page states it's for 1.6 - which might be an issue with PEX if you are running it with 1.8. We did have difering reports of crashes (not necessarily involving NCP though) with java 8 and MC 1.8, some concerning netty.

You can remove the kick action (just remove cmd:kickpackets from the list). I don'T suggest donwtuning the setting because that will allow even worse speeding - while
downtuningstunning will be ok with set-backs, supposedly.-

Posted May 24, 2015Got a problem, I use a plugin called skillapi and one of my skills stun targeted player in position, nocheatplus straight away kicks that player for sent too many moves packets. Where can I down tune this setting?

The double jumping is outside of the usual envelope, provided they use the "allow-flight" property to make "double jump" work. Which plugin/method is it?

Some day likely - right now we are slightly behind. In general we encourage to use plugins that cover things we don't or can't or don't want to, provided those are compatible etc. I can't judge how good that plugin is, also i'd always be careful with people boasting about "false positive free". If it has been around for a while and has some reviews and claims to be compatible... why not try it? I will try to get back at NCP these days to gain back some ground, we've recently lost.
