NoCheatPlus

Detect and fight the exploitation of various flaws/bugs in Minecraft!
Introduction
NoCheatPlus attempts to prevent cheat clients from exploiting weaknesses of Minecraft or its protocol, making your server more safe. Checks cover a wide range of issues including flying and speeding, fighting hacks, fast block breaking and nukers, inventory hacks, chat spam and other types of malicious behaviour. For a more complete list have a look at the Features Page.
NoCheatPlus puts emphasis on configurability and allows you to customize actions that are carried out when a player fails a check (e.g. silent cancelling, executing commands, just logging). Bypass permissions allow to control what check to apply for which players, all checks can be deactivated in the configuration, also having the option for world-specific configuration files. Many checks allow more detailed configuration to adjust sensitivity.
Certainly NoCheatPlus is not a magical bullet, it uses a lot of heuristics and even guessing, so you will encounter false positives here and there and also not catch every single violation. Example video of how NoCheatPlus blocks cheats (outdated plugin version).
NoCheatPlus was introduced by NeatMonster, building on the code base of NoCheat by Evenprime.

The following plugins might be useful to have a look at.
ProtocolLib
Allows NoCheatPlus to activate packet-level checks, covering a range of exploits that can't be monitored using ordinary means. Since roughly Minecraft 1.7.10, the fight.speed check can't work as expected anymore, due to changes in CraftBukkit. With ProtocolLib this can be repaired.
CompatNoCheatPlus (cncp)
Make plugins like mcMMO or MachinaCraft more compatbile with NoCheatPlus. Not all existing plugins are covered (yet), but you can leave a note or create an issue/ticket request for cncp. Phasing out: Citizens 2 should work with NCP out of the box, MagicSpells are working on compatibility too - rest will be integrated into NCP.
Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator fights all sorts of X-ray-hacks by altering the map information that is sent to the players, such that they have to mine blocks to actually reveal what is behind. Virtually a "must have". (Latest versions of Spigot contain features of Orebfuscator.)

My internet connection is slower today. In Brazil the internet speed varies depending on the day. Afterward I test and send what appears on nocheatplus.log.

Can you be more specific on what conflicts there are? We can not test all plugins out there on our own, for compatibility issues we need some input on what does conflict, what features of the other plugin are blocked and what checks from NCP are involved.

Same thing. It is limited by NCP but not fully blocked. Fully blocking would mean that false positives also lead to fully excluding legit players from combat. So there is no badge "kill aura", but several fight checks combine to reduce it to give legit players a chance in fighting. We are planning to improve the fighting checks as one of the next things we do, reducing false positives to be able to go harder on cheaters.

Thanks, this looks like survivalfly false positives - do you happen to have "ordinary" log messages like in-game alerts or console or nocheatplus.log entries with the survivalfly failures of such a jump? Specifically if you have the [tags] shown in the flyshort and/or flylong messages in the strings section. This could help identifying what part of survivalfly triggers here.

Tested now falling to 41 blocks high, I died and in the chat message appeared: Robson112011 fell from a high place. I died on touching water.

Sometimes does not die but receive damage and back into place where it started the jump.

Do the players die on touching the water or just somewhere in air?
Can you show violation messages of players death during falling? I am most interested in the ones stating the distance and tags, if you have not changed the configuration to hide those, but any alerts/log messages that can be tracked to such a case would be interesting.

A hack has recently been brought to my attention and I wonder if you know what it's called, I have a video that a player recorded for me below.
Tthe hacking player is disguised as a wolf for purposes of the game mode and his health can be seen on the bar at the top of the screen. Once the player reaches low health the hack client automatically makes him invaluable and he appears to glitch up and down while his health regenerates.

The first is about blocks that NCP can not know, so NCP does not have data about how fast they can be broken or how to treat the blocks for collision-checking.
The ingame messages are probably due to [MoCreatures] using a Player to implement NPC functionality. Are there any "helper" or "pet" creatures that do something like block breaking for the player?

I think something is wrong with the VL calculation of the block breaking out of sync check because i get very high VL's like 1073741120 .
The VL's aren't caused by hacking because if a player would use a hack I would get spammed with NCP alerts but i get the alert only one time.

Posted Feb 26, 2014I got the same problem as horsetears, players getting kicked a lot by block breaking out of synch, only happened after i updated to the latest version here.
