NoCheatPlus

Detect and fight the exploitation of various flaws/bugs in Minecraft!
Introduction
NoCheatPlus attempts to prevent cheat clients from exploiting weaknesses of Minecraft or its protocol, making your server more safe. Checks cover a wide range of issues including flying and speeding, fighting hacks, fast block breaking and nukers, inventory hacks, chat spam and other types of malicious behaviour. For a more complete list have a look at the Features Page.
NoCheatPlus puts emphasis on configurability and allows you to customize actions that are carried out when a player fails a check (e.g. silent cancelling, executing commands, just logging). Bypass permissions allow to control what check to apply for which players, all checks can be deactivated in the configuration, also having the option for world-specific configuration files. Many checks allow more detailed configuration to adjust sensitivity.
Certainly NoCheatPlus is not a magical bullet, it uses a lot of heuristics and even guessing, so you will encounter false positives here and there and also not catch every single violation. Example video of how NoCheatPlus blocks cheats (outdated plugin version).
NoCheatPlus was introduced by NeatMonster, building on the code base of NoCheat by Evenprime.
Recommended
The following plugins might be useful to have a look at.
ProtocolLib
Allows NoCheatPlus to activate packet-level checks, covering a range of exploits that can't be monitored using ordinary means. Since roughly Minecraft 1.7.10, the fight.speed check can't work as expected anymore, due to changes in CraftBukkit. With ProtocolLib this can be repaired.
CompatNoCheatPlus (cncp)
Make plugins like mcMMO or MachinaCraft more compatbile with NoCheatPlus. Not all existing plugins are covered (yet), but you can leave a note or create an issue/ticket request for cncp. Phasing out: Citizens 2 should work with NCP out of the box, MagicSpells are working on compatibility too - rest will be integrated into NCP.
Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator fights all sorts of X-ray-hacks by altering the map information that is sent to the players, such that they have to mine blocks to actually reveal what is behind. Virtually a "must have". (Latest versions of Spigot contain features of Orebfuscator.)

I don't think so. I use mob arena though, and that seems to be where most violations are spammed. (could just be the fact that it's a ton of mobs) As I said though, I also use McMMO. Can't think of anything else that might effect it, but here's a list of my plugins right now: WorldBorder, AutoSneak, Minequery, WorldEdit, BukkitCompat, VoxelSniper, EnderSpawn, Vault, PermissionsEx, Questioner, WorldGuard, PvPTimer, HeadHunter, SilkSpawners, iConomy, CoreProtect, WhatIsIt, OpenInv, ScheduledAnnouncer2, ClearLag, ProtocolLib, Modifyworld, Votifier, mcMMO, Essentials, floAuction, EssentialsProtect, ServerSigns, EssentialsSpawn, VanishNoPacket, Enjin Minecraft Plugin, LWC, PhatLoots, CompatNoCheatPlus, BKCommonLib, NoCheatPlus, PlotMe, Multiverse-Core, Towny, OtherDrops, Multiverse-Portals, Multiverse-Inventories, MobArena, TownyChat

Any details might help us fix stuff, though... any special circumstances (transition from sprint to not sprint, hunger bar changes, skill use, change from fly to not fly etc.)?
@TDKdodgybrothers
If the console shows the normal console output, they might appear there - but it might be only the higher violation level detections, because only those get logged to console. If nothing shows up ever you can try to set usesubscriptions to true (somewhere in the logging section), though i am not familiar with how multicraft does this, and this is just guessing at this very moment.
@Nickbbeezy
@Fudool8
That's interesting, are any authentication plugins in use (like freezing the player before password checks)?

Posted Sep 25, 2013Having the same problem as Nickbbeezy. I do have mcmmo enabled, and it seems to be related to that. CNCP is installed, but doesn't seem to alter that. Tried negating, nothing. Only been the last few updates.

Posted Sep 25, 2013I've had players complain about being able to see NCP notifications when they don't have permissions to do so. I've even tried negating the permissions from their usergroup but for some reason they can still see them.

Posted Sep 23, 2013Using the dev builds, I'm getting reports from players that movement/etc is more strict and they're seeing rubber bands... anything that changed in the last few builds that would cause that?

NoCheatPlus doesn't change anything on click-able links. Check our your chat manager plugin because that one will most likely handle it. If you use Essentials you need to give your players a permission to allow them placing click-able links.

It is hard to rely on "one player jumped and got teleported back", though hints at something. There are various possibilities.
If this happens so consistently, can you do "ncp info PLAYERNAME" before and after a failed jump ? Please make sure it is one that pushes the player down. Are always special blocks involved that the players jump off from?
If we can't narrow it down you can still alter settings to allow more speed in general, but right now i can't tell if this has to do with other plugins or is a bug only in NCP, and what actually is happening with players there.
Actually this is a case for which using a ticket is better to track what happened, because third people will have difficulty to track the info from the main pages. Could use "ncp version" once more if present "cncp" and a plugin list.

ok, I updated the program yet I find it impossible for an easy jump without full Exemption from NCP... There are no messages in the console such as "player moved too quickly"... Also, before posting this, one player jumped from a high height and then teleported back to the top and was reported for SurvivalFly moving too quickly... I need this plugin so no one can Duplicate with Anticheat, but I would really like my parkour to work.

If "ncp info player" does not show any change, then it is not NCP. It might be an issue with NCP dealing "0 fall damage" falsely, so another plugin sets back your players upon receiving fall damage.
To be sure not to have fall damage issues, please do update to the latest release available at BukkitDev.

I will update it here very soon, but I know it was NCP, I exempted a test player from ALL and then they were able to do it all fine. I even recorded the event if it continues after an update. I will try the update then reply again.

It does not seem to be NCP (you can also check /ncp info PLAYERNAME before and after getting pulled down).
You should update NCP to the latest release anyway.
