NoCheatPlus

Detect and fight the exploitation of various flaws/bugs in Minecraft!
Introduction
NoCheatPlus attempts to prevent cheat clients from exploiting weaknesses of Minecraft or its protocol, making your server more safe. Checks cover a wide range of issues including flying and speeding, fighting hacks, fast block breaking and nukers, inventory hacks, chat spam and other types of malicious behaviour. NoCheatPlus puts emphasis on configurability and allows you to customize actions that are carried out when a player fails a check (e.g. silent cancelling, executing commands, just logging). Bypass permissions allow to control what check to apply for which players, all checks can be deactivated in the configuration, also having the option for world-specific configuration files. Many checks allow more detailed configuration to adjust sensitivity.
Certainly NoCheatPlus is not a magical bullet, it uses a lot of heuristics and even guessing, so you will encounter false positives here and there and also not catch every single violation. Example video of how NoCheatPlus blocks cheats (outdated plugin version).
NoCheatPlus was introduced by NeatMonster, building on the code base of NoCheat by Evenprime.

The following plugins might be useful to have a look at.
ProtocolLib
Allows NoCheatPlus to activate packet-level checks, covering a range of exploits that can't be monitored using ordinary means. Since roughly Minecraft 1.7.10, the fight.speed check can't work as expected anymore, due to changes in CraftBukkit. With ProtocolLib this can be repaired.
CompatNoCheatPlus (cncp)
Make plugins like mcMMO or MachinaCraft more compatbile with NoCheatPlus. Not all existing plugins are covered (yet), but you can leave a note or create an issue/ticket request for cncp. Phasing out: Citizens 2 should work with NCP out of the box, MagicSpells are working on compatibility too - rest will be integrated into NCP.
Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator fights all sorts of X-ray-hacks by altering the map information that is sent to the players, such that they have to mine blocks to actually reveal what is behind. Virtually a "must have". (Latest versions of Spigot contain features of Orebfuscator.)

It's warnings not errors :) - i think those are removed in the upcoming release (i.e. in development builds). There had been changes in the Bukkit-API which were not treated in a compatible way by all other plugins / environments. What NCP/CraftBukkit version did you use?

Which version of NCP are you using? Support for walk/fly speeds should be in the latest development builds at least.

Posted Sep 4, 2013There is a bug that if you .setWalkSpeed() a player to make it double the speed of the player it will say "Player tried to move unexpectedly", this also applies to .setFlySpeed(). I need a fix for this, Because in the HUB players have extra speed and NC+ is preventing them from sprinting or walking sometimes, and also Premium users have access to /speed, I can disable that check but it is not a good thing to do, This better gets fixed instead of disabling speed hack check thing.

Dont worry about this message. It basically tells you that NoCheatPlus failed to transmit your server statistics to mcstarts.org.
You can disable this behaviour by going in your NoCheatPlus configuration file and setting reporttometrics to false or go to /plugin/PluginMetrics and disable it for all plugins there.
Important thing to note: NoCheatPlus transmits statistic on a new thread so whatever they do it wont affect or damage your server in any way.

Aimbot is like hunting players with fast reaction. Hardly pays to try to block it just by itself. The "perfect implementation" of aimbot would not be detectable (different to flying for instance), so i am not sure if it pays at all to invest too much into that.
Of course we will try to do more concerning fighting because auras etc. are still too strong, and it might also make some clients aimbot features less effective, but by itself there is not much to do.

Most likely this is a problem with the reach check. The other player is just out of reach on server side, due to latency or rather delay in this case it may appear that the other player is reachable now and then, though he is running a straight line on the other side.
This problem we can't provide a fully pleasing fix for at present, because increasing the reach distance will also make any kind of reach/aura cheats much more powerful in general. It is on the lists to work around this one.
Have you tried to check "ncp info PLAYERNAME" for such situation (only really makes sense with comparison to before: either ncp info or ncp remove PLAYERNAME before reproducing it)?

Towny config: Set cheat_protection: from 'true' to 'false' (Prevent fly and double block jump cheats.) or use the - towny.cheat.bypass permission to let them pass the towny fly check. Also vanilla flight check "allow-flight" will pull you back to ground also so you can disable that in the server props of your server.

Thats only possible in creative gamemode. Yea its possible to make a check against this cheat and we already have it in planning but currently focused on other things.

Which CraftBukkit version? Is the player in creative gamemode or has something like /fly which gives him/her creative fly mode? NoCheatPlus has a vClip check and I tested it successfully on a couple of hack clients. Is the player vcliping up or down? A ticket would be better here.
