NoCheatPlus

Detect and fight the exploitation of various flaws/bugs in Minecraft!
Introduction
NoCheatPlus attempts to prevent cheat clients from exploiting weaknesses of Minecraft or its protocol, making your server more safe. Checks cover a wide range of issues including flying and speeding, fighting hacks, fast block breaking and nukers, inventory hacks, chat spam and other types of malicious behaviour. NoCheatPlus puts emphasis on configurability and allows you to customize actions that are carried out when a player fails a check (e.g. silent cancelling, executing commands, just logging). Bypass permissions allow to control what check to apply for which players, all checks can be deactivated in the configuration, also having the option for world-specific configuration files. Many checks allow more detailed configuration to adjust sensitivity.
Certainly NoCheatPlus is not a magical bullet, it uses a lot of heuristics and even guessing, so you will encounter false positives here and there and also not catch every single violation. Example video of how NoCheatPlus blocks cheats (outdated plugin version).
NoCheatPlus was introduced by NeatMonster, building on the code base of NoCheat by Evenprime.

The following plugins might be useful to have a look at.
ProtocolLib
Allows NoCheatPlus to activate packet-level checks, covering a range of exploits that can't be monitored using ordinary means. Since roughly Minecraft 1.7.10, the fight.speed check can't work as expected anymore, due to changes in CraftBukkit. With ProtocolLib this can be repaired.
CompatNoCheatPlus (cncp)
Make plugins like mcMMO or MachinaCraft more compatbile with NoCheatPlus. Not all existing plugins are covered (yet), but you can leave a note or create an issue/ticket request for cncp. Phasing out: Citizens 2 should work with NCP out of the box, MagicSpells are working on compatibility too - rest will be integrated into NCP.
Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator fights all sorts of X-ray-hacks by altering the map information that is sent to the players, such that they have to mine blocks to actually reveal what is behind. Virtually a "must have". (Latest versions of Spigot contain features of Orebfuscator.)

Please be more specific. Which version of CraftBukkit, which version of NoCheatPlus?

Please also specify used versions (CB, NCP, cncp). If you run Spout/... you will have trouble using cncp at the moment, you should disable the player-class hook for the moment. Also check if you/testers have bypass permissions (op or checkpermissions).
The command issue however looks like you don't have the permission for the info command (nocheatplus.admin.info).

We can't do individual weights for commands yet, but you can prevent fast command use in general (lowering level on the chat.commands check).

Posted Feb 8, 2013Also, every command that I put in it just return a list of commands? For example. /ncp lag just returns a list of commands. Same with /nocheatplus info (Playername)

Posted Feb 8, 2013i have installed NoCheatPlus and the CompatNoCheatPlus. We have tested it and it but it is not blocking a single thing. We can fly, forcefield , everything. Its as if it we don't have it.

The chunks "disappear": They are gone forever or they just don't get sent to the client side ?
What server size (people online)?
What version of NCP ? What version of CB (latest = 1.4.7-R1.0)?
Other plugins like Orebfuscator ?

No I didnt change anything and im using the lastest craftbukkit, and chunk errors I'm getting the ones where random chunks dissapear off the map but once i took the plugin out everything was fine which was really weird.. Far as updates everything is up to date and working fine not sure what is really happening. If you need any info on anything i can provide it

Posted Feb 8, 2013Hi, on the new version of NCP when a player uses a sword that has knockback on it, the hitted player wont fly away...it stays in the place and it get stuck a little, being able to more hits...
it's just me ?
using def cfg with spigot and ncp recommended

I haven't tested newer versions tbh, again, i'm waiting till all the plugins we use are ready. And I don't think the portal is the issue. The portal just has water in it, which is what the issue is. It happens in other waterfalls as well.

Difficult to judge, could be Spigot or CB at 1.4.6 reporting the wrong collision boxes, but could also be 301. Did you try 3.8.9-b353 with it ?
The portals problem might be a plugin incompatibility, though.

Posted Feb 8, 2013I've had to add all fences, thin glass, and cobble walls to the ignorepassable blocks list. They were causing the check every time a player would contact one. I've also had to set survivalfly to NOT cancel violations below VL30. Walking on floating halfslabs would trigger it constantly as would walking through water (portals).

Noswing is one of the most unimportant checks, given that hack clients can easily adapt to it. In fact i am considering removing it, because hack clients can bypass it simply while at the same time they create more load on the server, which is more penalty with the check than without. Just the quick hack-write gets more difficult. But maybe i find some reason to keep it in.
But on topic:
If you want something to happen above vl 20, then it has to appear to the right of vl>20 in the list.
Then cmd:kick (mind the ":") is the command action which will look up what to do in the strings section (under Kick: ....). There should be one defined for kick already.
In effect you would have:
actions: log:noswing:3:2:f vl>20 log:noswing:3:2:if cancel cmd:kick
Are you sure you don't want to cancel before level 20 ? It is not really necessary since other checks do the real stuff, but if you want it you have to add a cancel in front of noswing (actions: cancel log:....).
And dont put in random spaces into cmd:... or log:noswing:...

I don't think you will find a solution here, because we don't do stuff that should affect such.
What kind of chunk errors do you get?
What version of CraftBukit and NCP are you using?
Did you change anything else (update CB, plugins, map)?

Currently the vls differ a lot amongst checks (documentation missing still), so i can't recommend to use one reference value for all.
As MyPictures stated, there are false positives, with some checks more with some checks less, so one should not set levels too low for such.
The inventory clicking is not that high a level, though, given that a seconds lag spike can lead to it if you do fast shift-click to a chest for instance.
Build 353 does not do lag-adaption for fastclick.

Just be careful and be aware that NC+ isn't a magic bullet that blocks everything. It has issues that could shoot out wrong alerts.
That seems cheating to me, however I would spy that guy with a /vanish plugin and see what he is trying to do. Just to be sure....

Yea I also noticed that the velocity of 380 was back to "normal" again. @asofold is doing some big changes on it at the moment.
