NoCheatPlus

Detect and fight the exploitation of various flaws/bugs in Minecraft!
Introduction
NoCheatPlus attempts to prevent cheat clients from exploiting weaknesses of Minecraft or its protocol, making your server more safe. Checks cover a wide range of issues including flying and speeding, fighting hacks, fast block breaking and nukers, inventory hacks, chat spam and other types of malicious behaviour. NoCheatPlus puts emphasis on configurability and allows you to customize actions that are carried out when a player fails a check (e.g. silent cancelling, executing commands, just logging). Bypass permissions allow to control what check to apply for which players, all checks can be deactivated in the configuration, also having the option for world-specific configuration files. Many checks allow more detailed configuration to adjust sensitivity.
Certainly NoCheatPlus is not a magical bullet, it uses a lot of heuristics and even guessing, so you will encounter false positives here and there and also not catch every single violation. Example video of how NoCheatPlus blocks cheats (outdated plugin version).
NoCheatPlus was introduced by NeatMonster, building on the code base of NoCheat by Evenprime.

The following plugins might be useful to have a look at.
ProtocolLib
Allows NoCheatPlus to activate packet-level checks, covering a range of exploits that can't be monitored using ordinary means. Since roughly Minecraft 1.7.10, the fight.speed check can't work as expected anymore, due to changes in CraftBukkit. With ProtocolLib this can be repaired.
CompatNoCheatPlus (cncp)
Make plugins like mcMMO or MachinaCraft more compatbile with NoCheatPlus. Not all existing plugins are covered (yet), but you can leave a note or create an issue/ticket request for cncp. Phasing out: Citizens 2 should work with NCP out of the box, MagicSpells are working on compatibility too - rest will be integrated into NCP.
Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator fights all sorts of X-ray-hacks by altering the map information that is sent to the players, such that they have to mine blocks to actually reveal what is behind. Virtually a "must have". (Latest versions of Spigot contain features of Orebfuscator.)

Nope, it is as described. But uncertain if it is yawrate or just improbable. It could be yawrate adding too much penalty (then leading to improbable to alert later as a consequence).

hitspeed check was added way before in NC+ (3.6). Please make a good ticket and @asofold will have a look at that (he will do anyways but just to make it faster :)).

Posted Oct 19, 2012When using forcefield with nocheat, it makes it so you cant hit people, well there is problem on my server, were if you hit to fast, it will not let you hit anyone for a certain amout of time, and alot of people die because of it.

Please regenerate the config rather, build 96 is pretty old on some aspects. You can hardly talk of "the default config" using a config generated like 50 builds ago.
The passable check might have a slightly too low VL set for the first log messages to appear, it is pretty new. Level 5 seems to happen fairly often after players connect or teleport, due to the chunks not being rendered but the player already falling down (sending the moving events). Thus NCP detects them to be moving into blocks. That is not cheating of course.
The latest dev build contain another fix for passable allowing to move out of sand for instance if it only blocks your feet.

Well I got the spam thing fixed by setting noletter to 0, now I can use the " . ", I always do that with my alts for lag test. For the passable thing, its the first time I see that.
I'm using the dev build, I know dev builds are unstable, but I prefer to use taht. I'm using the #96 config.

Let your config.yml from NC+ regenerate, changed much since #99. Try #161 for passable, that may fix it. Also be sure that the current Minecraft has a "Block break/place out of sync!" issue.
You can stay at #99 if you want, you decide what you want to install on your server.
To the chat: As @asofold said, not every server owner wants players to be able to count in the chat. That actually is already some sort of small spam already, lucky NC+ gives you the possibility to config everything.

Checked the noletter: 0, seems working now. Funny how now testing a stone tower.. I dont see that fastbreak thing, but I'm getting Passable... weird heh? Sorry for being angry at that, I was just annoyed to see those warnings for nothing. I'll keep an update for that thing.

well its not my fault if I keeps getting errors by using defaults values... And why my server terrible? Without the plugin the server works good, but with it I'm getting those messages claiming my players lagging. Also I'm not a java coder so its impossible to do a new one.

hmh ye but I thought using out default values will prevent any such hacks.. but I think default values are a bit harsh. well gotta try what you said, but if I change fastbreak warnings, do it will prevent block lag because the plugin thinks the player hacks.

Comments like these disgust me. Don't assume that the latest dev build will throw more errors than ever. It works fine on my server, your server specifications are most likely, terrible, causing your players to lag, and thus throwing false positives. In addition, the devs are doing you a favour by providing you with a anti-cheat solution. If this plugin is getting worse, why not make your own? Before you claim that someone else's work is bad, check to see if you can do any better, thanks.
PS: If you want to report a bug, or issue, I'd suggest you do it in a polite manner, and providing more details to lead to it being resolved. Your comment accomplished absolutely nothing.

You are not following my suggestions.
1. Use the latest version on bukkitdev or the latest dev builds they are all ok and much better than beta on almost all aspects.
2. Set "noletter: 0" instead of the value that is there already (use search function for noletter).
3. consider setting the level settings for chat.text.frequency higher, double them if you want, or increase by half. Test the outcome, it is reloadable at runtime also you can sue "/ncp remove *" to remove old vl accumulation while testing.
If you don't need a spam check deactivate it if you want to allow fast count downs then adjust the check to your needs, it is configurable. But then you have to test the settiung s for yourself, other server want such stuff prevented so it is a matter of taste. In fact relatively few people have complained about the current chat settings. If they are too sharp for the average server we will adjust the default settings.
And please consider starting off with a fresh config. If you are using an old config and a check is problematic, then cut out the check section and use reload to see if the default settings changed. If possible regenerate the whole config (delete + /ncp reload), possible at runtime.

Used a NCP backup were " . " working without notice, then I'm getting Fastbreak notices! My players says they have lag!! I'm getting Fastbreak warnings! This plugin is worse than ever. They said my server lags, but its that damn NCP blocking that... they dont even cheat! Its legitimate players reporting it! Even it happens on my alts.
I reverted back to 3.7.2-beta-b96, now I'm not getting the . spam warnings but know I know its outdated but your plugin is getting worse. I'm still thinking why peoples uses it.
If I use the latest dev one, I'll probably get more warnings than ever... Gotta test that and giving info.

You need CompatNoCheatPlus for mcMMO. But do mind potential Spout conflicts if you have that.

Got a problem, im using MCMMO and when players use the Woodcutting Skill on a large tree they get kicked from the server. Is there any quick fix for this?
Im using CB 1.3.2-R2.0
