I've set the plugin to "abandoned" status myself (that's why there is a red box above this text), because it describes best the current status of this plugin. Thanks to everyone that supported me during the year of development, with money, bug reports or simply kind words.
What now?
NoCheat 3.5.0 no longer works with recent CraftBukkit build and you will no longer get any updates or support from me anymore.

Replacements for NoCheat
Check out these plugins.
NoCheat+
It is based on NoCheat's code and is therefore similar in how it works. But it also adds a ton of new features. You can find it HERE.
NoCheat Classic
It is the original NoCheat without any modifications beyond what is necessary to make it work on modern CraftBukkit versions. If you like NoCheat exactly the way it is, this may be what you are looking for. You can find it HERE.
AntiCheat
Is a new plugin that's built from scratch. That means it will behave and feel different to NoCheat. I'm sure the developer appreciates new users and bug reports. Get it HERE.
Make your own

Super jump hack is when you set your hack to jump higher than normal. Also, Nodus just released an update which bypasses NoCheat's forcefield detector, added an auto-bow charge, and has a working NoFall. (So long as you touch water after you tun it off.) I have tested it and it works on NoCheat servers, however I think NC 3.0 will stop the forcefield hack due to it clicking like 100 times a second.

I have NoCheat 3.0 up and running on my server and a few people have triggered the 'fight speed' check.
I have changed my config options to allow 15 per second as 10 clicks per second seems to be way too strict and is catching legitimate players.
Maybe increase the default to 15?

Posted Feb 1, 2012For those that have problem using the "Vampire" superjump feature. NoCheat supports that. Your problem is probably another plugin like "towny" blocking "flying".

So what is it now? Players can jump too high or they can't? Jumping on lillypads has been fixed some time ago, I'd have no idea why it would stop working suddenly. Also, what's a "super jump" hack supposed to be?

Sure, but it's not worth the effort for me and may have lots of impact on what other plugins do. Maybe you can find a plugin that delays player logouts by replacing them with an NPC after logout for some seconds?

Posted Jan 31, 2012@I8NY Okay I finally found out how to do it: in actions.txt you add "consolecommand Kicker 0 1 kick [player]" and in config.txt edit "moving.runfly.actions.0 = moveLogLowShort moveCancel Kicker" I now get how the commands work but documentation and other resources were hard to understand. Still this mod has a lot of power but a steep learning curve.
@ihasamoose Something similar is you can't jump out of water onto a open fence gate block.

Posted Jan 31, 2012Players can not hold space to jump on top of a lilypad when underwater because they are stopped from "run-fly" hacking.
I'd love it if this could be fixed. Really greatful for your hard work.

Posted Jan 31, 2012I witnessed a player of mine jump out of a very high window and then disconnect/reconnect near the bottom, completely avoiding the fall damage (and death). I was a bit stunned when I saw it. Is there any way we can get an option to prevent disconnection while falling?

sure, NoCheat works with all plugins that do "SuperPerms".
New NoCheat version tomorrow. I've made lots of changes, therefore I want to be around for the first few hours to fix stuff immediatly when people find things that I didn't notice. Good night.

I have one idea for a feature, how about for antispam, it will have a different setting for command spam than chat spam. Some users use TMI and get banned. But I use this plugin because it seems like it disconnects people the fastest compared to other plugins.
So this bans anyone with a standard TMI config I think: 3 messages in 1 second = ban

It will have a new, (imho) simpler configuration file and technically less features (Bukkit fixed some stuff, so I don't have to do it now).
A compatibility update therefore, with minor bugfixes like running+jumping on ice.
