Introduction

 

Want to prevent players from using AFK fishing farms to get enchanted books? This plugin should be of help- it prevents all kinds of automatic fishing farms that don't require the use of a mod.

 

Installation

 

No configuration is required- just put the plugin in your plugins folder!

 

How it works

 

 

Normally, if you cast your fishing rod out in the water, then right-click something that has a "use" (a door, note block, villager, snowball), the bobber won't be reeled in. AFK fish farms rely on this among a few other things to keep the player fishing as long as they hold the use-item key. This plugin prevents that by removing any bobbers that weren't reeled in.

 

Version Support

 

The plugin has been written to support 1.8-1.13 and older versions (1.7 and below). I've not tested it on all versions, so let me know if it doesn't work on one.

 

Planned Features

 

I plan for this plugin to also prevent some autofishing mods/hacks. I'm also making a configuration option for letting some blocks not cause the bobber to reel in, so that players can still right-click a crafting table or chest while fishing (this option will be disabled by default).
