NoSwearing

Table of Contents

NoSwearing is a very simple plugin, it blocks words (editable in the config.yml) that aren't allowed. This is good for people that curse or rage.

Features

Blocks words that you don't want allowed on your server.

Installation

Download NoSwearing.jar and drag the file into your plugins folder in your server folder

Commands (More commands coming soon!)

/noswearingreload - Reloads the config

Permissions

noswearing.* - Gives access to all NoSwearing commands
noswearing.reload - Allows you to reload the config

Configurable Words

To add or remove words, open the config.yml found inside of the NoSwearing folder inside of your plugins folder.

I like the simplicity of the plug but have a request. I'm running a server for elementary students (so this is a great safeguard for me). Would it be possible to have a setting where it doesn't repeat the word? Instead of 'you can't say WORD on this server' just 'you can't say that on this server'. I'd rather the server not repeat the word back to the student. Thank you!

What does the bypass in the config do? Turn the plugin on and off?

Hey, I would like to request a feature: - MySQL database for storing the ''bad words''.

This so that on a network, we can basically apply the same ''bad words'' by adding it to a MySQL database. Obviously it would be handy if we could add the words with a command like /noswear add/remove {word} ; so that we don't have to edit it in the MySQL database manually.

- Removed add/remove command (These 2 commands aren't working, I will fix it as soon as I can!)
- Reload command now works!

Because ive been looking for a plugin that does that
and it would make my server look more professional
and because my server chat is "Color based" With certain colors with red and blue

Found a bug!
I tried out this plugin when i deoped my self

So, I said the word "Shit" In chat

It blocked the messege and and replaced it with
"You arent allowed to say "Shit" In Chat"
"You arent allowed to say "Shit" In Chat"

It replys with the messege TWICE
YES I SAID TWICE!
I ONLY WANY IT ONCE!

Also, Suggestion: Make the prefix configurable instead of just "[No-Swearing]"
