Description
This plugin disables all explosions from creepers, TnT etc. When ever an explosion takes place no block damage will be done but it will still damage the near by player. If you have suggestions for this plugin please leave it in the comments!
Features
- Disables Block Explode
- Players can still take damage
Once plugin is installed a message in the console will show saying that No Explosions is enabled to confirm it is up and working properly

How to install
- 1. Download the NoBoom Plugin
- 2. Drag/copy it into your plugins folder located in your server folder
- 3. Start or reload server
- 4. Enjoy :D

Posted Jan 10, 2017Should have it set so certain players can have it on, such as admin. Should also have it so certain worlds can have it enabled, example disabled in SPAWNWORLD but enabled in mineworld.

Bukkit does not fire events for manually triggered (as in a plugin maker calling the bukkit createExplosion method) explosions. So NoBoom has no way to detect such an explosion is about to occur. The only solution is to ask the balkonweaponmod maker to disable block and fire damage and explicitely scan for players and damage them in his plugin. Another solution would be to ask bukkit to add an explosionEvent that triggers if any plugin generates an explosion. good luck!

Posted Mar 2, 2014Hello ! This plugin is great, I wanted players to be able to take damage but not explode blocks. But I still have an issue, the same I had with the other plugins I tried.
My server running balkonweaponmod and this mod add dynamite and cannon. Unfortunately, even with NoBoom, the blocks are destroyed whereas tnt and creeper are prevented from exploding.
Do you have any idea why ?
Edit : The issue comes directly from the mod ! Balkondeur made his own explosion code, I am gonna have a bad time to try to prevent explosions easily in my regions :(
