Overview:
Basically NetherBan provides an alternative to straight out banning. Banning can be too harsh sometimes and kicking just isn't effective. So I created NetherBan! NetherBan allows you to ban your players and prevents them from escaping. While banished, players can't use portals and have restrictions based upon what you do in the NetherBan.prop file! NetherBan is flexible, it allows for many configuration options and include (but not limited to) mute on ban or can't build and dying will not spawn them in the normal world while banished.

Whitelist for your loved ones!

Blacklist items!
Permissions support! (but not required)
Lightning strikes on banish (configurable)
Permissions:
netherban.nbban - Allow /nbban <player>
netherban.nbkick - Allow /nbkick <player>
netherban.nbunban - Allow /nbunban <player>
netherban.whitelist - Allow /nbwl <player> || /nbwhitelist <player>
Commands:
/netherban <player> | Ban a player to the Nether!
/nbunban <player> | Unban a player from the Nether!
/nbwhitelist <player> | Whitelists a player and makes them safe from banishment!
/nbhelp | Displays help menu
/nbversion | Displays NetherBan version you have.

Posted Jan 7, 2017How about this gets updated to 1.11.2 AND u allow use with Bungee, so i can /ban player, then they go to the Prison server in the seg unit untill there timer runs out

does this mean, you can blacklinst items which can´t be brought throu the nether-portals? That would be great!

reboot server and this plugin no longer has its property

Posted Mar 20, 2012Hey everyone, this plugin looks to be discontiniued and is VERY buggy. My suggestion would be DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS it just wastes your time. Nice idea tho, if anyone is continiuing it, I'm looking forward to a link, cause this is the type of death I want on my server :P

Posted Jan 8, 2012Got a bug, when I want to /nbunban someone ingame, it does not let me and says something like 'Usage /nbunban <player>'. When the person is offline, I can unban him, but when he comes back online, he cannot get out of the nether. Can anyone fix that or tell me what's going on??

Posted Dec 15, 2011Any plans to add a ban command based on time such as banning the individual for x amount of min/hours/days after which when the time expires the individual is no longer banned and also maybe link the IP address to the ban as well in case the person logs under another username.
