NBTEditor
NBTEditor allows easy customization of many aspects of Minecraft, through the modification of NBT tags, on Spigot and CraftBukkit servers. Creating custom potions and tools with powerful enchantments is as easy as running a few commands. And with the help of the Book of Souls, it's possible to create highly complex entities and spawners with ease.
Features include:
- Robust system to edit of all entities and spawners using a book based UI (Book of Souls);
- Conversion entities into '/summon' commands;
- Customization of items (name, lore, unbreakable, modifiers, colors on leather armor etc.);
- Item enchanting with no limits;
- Creation of custom potions;
- Conversion of items into '/give' commands;
- Tile customization (spawners, beacons, chests etc.);
- Conversion of tiles into '/setblock' commands;
- and more...
Edit now, spawn later: The Book of Souls is most powerful feature of the NBTEditor, it allows for easy entity customization. Create bosses, custom villagers, flying creepers or anything you like. No data files, no one-time customization, just keep the book safe and you can spawn as many entities as you like.
Included is also an 'Item Storage' command to keep track of your Books of Souls and other edited items.
The variable system used by the NBTEditor ensures that only valid NBT changes are performed while providing a standard way to make those changes. Arbitrary NBT modifications are not possible.


All Items, Entities and Spawners are fully compatible with the Vanilla Minecraft!

Global Statistics
On version 2.0 the NBTEditor started using MCStats for usage statistics. MCStats is now offline.
Since version 3.0, bStats is used to gather general usage statistics. You can read here about bStats, what data is sent, and how to opt-out from sending statistics from your server.

@Haydenbelanger no, this is not possible. you can make entities drop more exp by adding exp bottles as a custom drop, but you can not make them drop less exp.

Posted Dec 16, 2013Can you manipulate the amount of XP a monster drops? I have ender dragon monsters but I don't necessarily want my player getting 107 levels of XP every time they kill one of them.

not possible as far as i know (unfortunately). you can do /gamerule doMobLoot false but this disables ALL mob drops (including the custom ones you set) so in short, it's not possible, but it SHOULD be.

it doesn't work on bukkit either. we just have to be patient and wait for goncalomb to update this. he's already confirmed he'll be updating it, AND adding new features, so for now just sit back and relax. (and donate if you feel so inclined)

Posted Dec 12, 2013While holding the wool mosnter's book do /bos var dropchance a b c d e A is head, B chest, C pants, D feet, E hand. For whichever slot the wool is in (probably head or hand) set it to .1 (10%) and everything else to your liking. (I'd do 0)

Posted Dec 12, 2013Is it possible for you to modify the chance of a drop? I'm making a CTM map and to get the wool you need to kill wool monsters. I don't necessarily want the player to be able to get the wool from them every time, so can I make it so that it drops at a 10% chance or something? Thanks.

Just took some timeout from all the plugins/bukkit stuff.
The next version (and future ones) will be open-source and under GPL3, I will turn my all my repositories public, so everyone can see the code. There will also be SNAPSHOT (development) versions from time to time.
