NationalBroadcast
Introduction/Overview
In essence, this plugin will allow you to relay simple information (eg, server website, voting, etc.) in an easy-to-read fashion. NationalBroadcast will not only allow you to bring people towards your voting and website, but also, to bring in donations with a "Donate for ranks!" message! I developed this plugin to be a simple method of broadcasting messages to your players. This plugin is aimed at larger servers where broadcasting and announcing are bigger issues. The plugin basically displays a message in game to your players every [ ] amount of seconds. You can put your own messages in using the messages.txt (See config for more info) and you can even change the message colors using color codes! This plugin does not require any permissions whatsoever.
Features
In the beta version of the plugin, we have added: Configurable time between broadcasts and Color codes. There is loads more to come soon!
Commands
We run off of two very simple & easy to remember commands, these are: /startbroadcast /stopbroadcast
/startbroadcast - This command starts all of your announcements which you have set up in the messages.txt folder (See config for more info) /stopbroadcast - This command stops all announcements or broadcasts server wide, to restart them, simply type /startbroadcast
Config
NOTE: No configuration is necessary for this plugin to be operational. However, the first time you load the plugin on your server, a file named "messages.txt" will appear in the plugin folder. This file is where you edit the messages you want NationalBroadcast to display to your players. Simply type the message you want displayed in the messages.txt folder as follows, (You can also use essentials color codes to make your messages stand out more).
- "Welcome to the server"
This will display a white message every time the broadcast goes off. You can edit the time between broadcasts very easily. At the bottom of messages.txt there is a line saying:
"broadcast[60]"
This means that the time between each broadcast is 60 seconds. You can edit this to your preference.
