NamePlates
A simple plugin for changing the colours of players names in the server chat, above players heads and in the player listFeatures
- Change the colour of players names in the player list (tab) and chat
- Create custom permissions that can add a prefix and suffix to a players name
- Show a players health below there name
- Set a default colour for operators
Installation
- Move nameplates.jar into the /plugins folder
- Restart Bukkit
- (Optional) Stop Bukkit and edit the /plugins/nameplates/config.yml file

Posted Jul 13, 2014Uhmm, how do I uninstall this? I deleted the plugin folder and jar file but it won't go away.
EDIT: I figured out how to get rid of it. Use the /scoreboard command like this
/scoreboard teams remove name /scoreboard teams remove Operator [repeat with any other custom names you made] /scoreboard objectives remove showhealth

Thats very odd, that happens because the scoreboard has not been reset.
I'll add some code in to reset on disable.

Posted Mar 27, 2014Well I can confirm with tmad40blue, the plugin is trash when it comes to being removed from the server. It seems like it doesnt reset the scoreboard at all which is horrible. Do NOT use this plugin if you think its going to do things like remove the <> from chat, etc. If it did, then I would be much happier...

Posted Mar 16, 2014After completely uninstalling and deleting all traces of your plugin, and reverting my server to VANILLA Minecraft (as in... Bukkit is not running), I STILL have the "OpColour" being applied to my username, and the hearts under the username are still showing up.
Your plugin is running even though Bukkit is not.
Not sure how this is possible but I don't like it. If you know why this would be happening a fix would be really nice.

Posted Mar 13, 2014so just to be sure, before i start breaking things, to have my "donator" groups have special nameplates i'd need to format them like this right?

and give the nodes "nameplates.custom.Silver" "nameplates.custom.Gold" and "nameplates.custom.Diamond" or would that make the players have the username "diamond" ?

That is part of bukkit. It is near impossible to break the 16 characters. Bukkit only allows 16 characters on nameplates which includes colour codes
