What is MyZ?
MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.
Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

The error is here. When a chest is setup with a ChestType, it has a respawn_time of -1. And when the respawn_time is less than 0, it is not respawned.
A temporary fix until I push out a new version is to simply open the chests.yml and change the respawn_time from -1 to 0.

After assigning the lootset, open the chest, and it should despawn once you close it and it is empty. I'll look into this though when I get back to my machine.

Posted Feb 5, 2015The alpha release was just submitted! Make sure to report any and all bugs you experience across whatever server derivatives you are using. Next up are initial bug fixes and a compatibility overhaul for 1.7.10. Then I'll be throwing back in some fun features.

Posted Feb 2, 2015As I wish to remain true to my promises, I have released the source code to-date on the MyZ GitHub (link above). Technically, provided a POM, you can build MyZ.jar from this source, however, this is not recommended as it's not technically game-ready, nor is it checked by DBO robots/staff.
So far, alpha testing is minimal at best - however, reliability should be in some high order for Craftbukkit. Spigot may experience some issues still. Also note that as of now, MyZ 4 is built only for 1.8 server versions. This is likely going to be expanded backwards to 1.7.10.
So what's left before a true alpha release on DBO?
Well, for starters, I need to implement a rank system for chat formatting and kit management. I also need to work out world protection systems and do a formal write-up for both settings.yml and mob_settings.yml.
Then, I need to implement a friends system, and a guild system (which may or may not be included in the pre-release). A few final touch-ups on some existing features (with the new ones implemented) will bring the main features to a close. Then there are a few more features I plan on adding (but that will be after the initial alpha release).
The biggest thing I want to do before pushing out a pre-release though is a fully fledged field test.
Hopefully you guys will be patient enough to stick-in there with me for a few days longer so I can bring you the very best.
