What is MyZ?
MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.
Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

Posted Jul 4, 2013does not working for me... what im doing wrong? i have all the plugins that MyZ need TagAPI Citizens Vault and im not using mysql so i didnt even add that plugin... when i run the server i dont get anything about MyZ ingame and in cosole... anything i can do? :OO

Posted Jul 3, 2013I changed the durability and nothing happened . Still -5. also the loot chest are not working and with the region you cant open any chest. how do i fix this or can someone do a video on it XD

When players logout, they shouldn't be teleported to the world spawn. This issue should have been fixed if not in the 1.6.1 then the one before it. As for grave digging, a sign must be a block above a mossy cobble block. (Mossy cobble, air space above, sign on wall) and the signs first line must be the same as the one in the config. The player must break the mossy cobble. You don't need to specify it in the blocks broken allowed.

I got everything working on my server. Only when I disable the kick feature and set the world to my minez world in the logout settings people still have their myz inventory in the spawn. Also when they use the /mz spawn command after that, their inventory gets reset to the default kit (For example: They find enderpearls, they use the /mz logout command and teleport to the minez spawn (same world) and keep their default kit + enderpearls. When they use /mz spawn after that, they get the default kit, without the items they before found).
Oh, and I don't understand the grave digging option: where must the sign be placed? And which block must be destroyed to dig? Because I don't see any other block except cobwebs and cactus that need an iron shovel to break in the blocks white-list (Line 420 in the config), must I add an extra line to that?

Posted Jul 1, 2013There seems to be a bug with the land protection. It was all working fine up to the last update. Now enderpearls and Giant Jumps are destroying the terrain.
It throws this error :
CONSOLE: [SEVERE] Could not pass event EntityExplodeEvent to MyZ v1.7

Posted Jul 1, 2013Quick question. Do you have any idea how the guys at SurvivalZ got this plugin to run WITH mods on the server. Im currently trying to do something along those lines but when ever i load the plugin into my Bukkit Forge server it never fully works [no fast zombies,death kicks,ETC] To confirm this i opened a NO mods bukkit server and the plugin works great! So im certain its because im using bukkit forge or something. if there is someway i could get this to work on the bukkit forge server PLEASE, PLEASE let me no!

Posted Jun 30, 2013I am currently running MyZ on another map. Everything appears to be working except that no matter what I do, /mz spawn always returns - "You are too far away from the world spawn to do that."
Only thing is, I have set the world spawn correctly (as far as I know). Used MCEdit, tried Essentials /setspawn, had Mulitiverse's spawn system set it (now removed for troubleshooting)... everything I could think of and nothing will change the outcome. It's always the same message.
I have to assume then that my issue is with the AREA: flag in the config. Yet again, no matter what I set here, nothing changes. Can you explain the basic method I should be going about setting this region? Am I wrong in thinking it's just a region/cube I could select with worldedit's wand? (getting the X Y Z cords for a cube around the actual world spawn point I set)
- I should note, that if I use the default MineZ map you provided, the entire spawn system works perfectly.

Giants only spawn from mooshroom eggs. Wire some redstone attached to a dispenser with mooshroom eggs to spawn giants.
You "want" MyZ to stop you from setting the time/spawning essentials mobs but this isn't actually possible. For the time setting, do /mz time set <time>. Essentials spawned mobs cannot be allowed though as there is no way of telling that Essentials spawned the mob.
