MyZ
What is MyZ?
MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.
Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

Ok so i set Deathban to false and seconds to 30 and the same thing happens D:
Deathban: false SECONDS: 30 # Time in seconds to be banned from joining.

Posted Jun 21, 2013I want to host a server for a few of my friends. Playing MineZ on another server really got me wanting to host this one. I'm having a few problems though. This is one of them
(Issue was resolved, did not have Worldguard/Worldedit/Worldborder installed.)
A little help would be appreciated if possible. I have all the dependencies installed, but i don't know how to get MySQL working (Having never used databases past building a basic one in microsoft office.) If possible, could a tutorial be made for setting up and linking a MySQL database to the MyZ plugin that is simplified as best as possible. Thank you for your time! ^_^

I've tested it and it is definitely working as normal. When deathban is set to false, it does not kick.

If the Sql database is running on a server hoster, there should be a MySQL tab on your administration page that will show:
Once all the info is entered and SQL is set to ENABLED: true, MyZ will try to connect on startup.

TagAPI is a dependency, SQLLibrary is optional (required only if using SQL).

Ok so i delete the plugin from the server re download to the server and change Seconds to 0 and i still get kicked from server when you die :'( Please help... maybe i can send you my config teepee??

Something seems to be wrong with the plugin. Just remove it and download a new copy off of dev bukkit here. Then try setting seconds to 0.

It likely isn't registering MyZ when you start your server. Do you receive any error messages in the console upon startup?

Posted Jun 20, 2013How do I make this plugin work? I tried with easy and peaceful and all and without them and it still doesnt work. Latest craftbukkit, all plugins that are required are installed, even the optional ones, and the mobs spawn but why the heck skeletons and creepers and all?? Why dont just zombies spawn?

Posted Jun 19, 2013Hey, okay I will set chests manually then...
Also, players seem to be getting destroyed by zombies. Are the Zombie Spawn rates the same throughout the entire map?
Additionally, is it possible to change the name of the item you start with for example Paper -> Bandage
I have the Lores plugin to change item names.
