What is MyZ?

MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.

Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

Stacks have been giving me some troubles... They work on some servers and don't on others. I'll see what I can do.

@lunarixx

Will it just not run when changed to a different world or is your config file being overwritten? See @darkaln's post if this is the case.

This seems to be happening to some people, although I can't pinpoint the issue. I'll continue to look.

Check your console log, you might have added a wrong symbol somewhere due to which your config resets everytime you start your server.

Sorry for triple post, but what if i want to enable MineZ on another World?

It wont let me to set another world atm.. No idea why...

Why are you using Vault for permissions support? You could also use the Bukkit API...

Items don't seem to stack like cookies and such, any idea why? I have the default settings, and that other link you provided seems to be broken 403 error.

Bug list :

Your name in the tab list doesnt go red when your a bandit, but it goes green ok when your a healer. (It only goes red when you re-log)
Friend tags should (I think) overwrite Bandit/Healer tags.
If you try and friend someone and your below the rank needed, you recieve a message saying "That player is either offline or does not exist."
Fishing rods do not work for any rank lower than 3, even if specified to in the config.
Fishing rods do not lose the correct amount of durability when used.
Killing a player with a grenade or arrow does not count towards player kills.
The logout timer still slowly crawls up into the hundreds.
I'm not sure how some players have managed it, but they get infinite amounts of water from an empty cauldron.
Sometimes Zombies spawn in the spawn area.
Not sure if this is a bug, but two messages appear when an NPC player is killed. Could we have it so it's only the first message please?
Odd durability bug with spawn kit items (Sorry to keep mentioning it :P)
Grenades do damage to friends if pvp is disabled.
Death messages are always global still, even if the player sets them to local.

Having some TPS drop / lag issues, when :

A player is killed or dies,
Players use /mz friends,
Players friend each other.

Suggestions from players on my server :

A Backpack! An item, such as a chest or cauldron. Which enlarges the players inventory when equipped in his inventory, extending the players inventory GUI with a virtual inventory space (Similar to what it would look like when opening a chest) when ever they press E. Which has a customizable amount of rows. When the player dies, it can be set to drop the backpacks goods on the floor, aswell as emptying the virtual storage space of the victim. So the next time they spawn, and acquire a backpack, it will be empty. (Hope that all makes sense)

Something like this in the config.

BACKPACK_ID: 380 # Cauldron.

STORAGE_ROWS: 1 # 9 Slots.

DROP_GOODS: true # When a player dies, the items in the backpack are dropped. (Also removing the items for the victims virtual storage)

RANK_NEEDED: 1 # 0=User, 1=Silver, 2=Gold, 3=Platinum, 4=Admin, 5=Owner, 6=Developer

Although it seems like a cool idea, this sounds quite hard to implement!

Suggestions from myself :

Possibly have a despawning system, where zombies outside a certain range of a player begin to despawn, to avoid the entity numbers getting too high.
Customizable drops for the zombie types.
Could we have a customizable "You do not have any friends." message when you use /mz friends and you don't have any.
An alias for "MZ" in commands would be amazing.

I have done everything to increase the spawning, is there a reason why spawns are so rare? Or Is there a golden number to get it just right?

Your plugins need a fix the commands in other world don't like if they are in the config.

Hi can anyone help me. The MyZ_1.1-R0.1 version loads correctly, generates all the config files and folders but in game I am not able to run any commands. Running /mz help or any other command gives the output /mz. I am currently using the version MyZ_1.0.2-R0.2 which seems to work fine without any errors. I have installed all the dependency plugins correctly. I am not getting any output error logs as well.

For some reason, the Jar file does nothing when i place it to my files.

No folder created.. Nothing..

Just enter the phrase SOULBOUND anywhere in your item configuration. For example, 298.50SOULBOUND will make a leather helmet with 50 durability value soulbound.
