What is MyZ?

MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.

Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

Okay so I downloaded my server as a backup on my computer and edited it a bit, it seems that whenever I have the World name changed in the server.properties file from World to something else MyZ just fails to load at [MyZ] Enabling v1.0.3. So I had it working on my computer with the servers name as "world"
So I went back to my server, edited it so my server worlds name is "world" but then it still just stops loading at [MyZ] Enabling v1.0.3 on there.

I was testing the ranks and when you log out then log back in it automaticly expires your rank even though it is set for 90 days. How do I fix this issue?

Can you add these things:

- a spawnbook like in MineZ - a item to right click and select a kit then, like a chest with items you can give an kit name - Y coord for spawn

Hello I'm having some trouble :

- When MyZ is enable on my server with Denizen, I'm having that error spaming my log : [INFOS] +> [dNPC] Uh oh! Denizen has encountered an NPE while trying to fetch a NPC. Has this NPC been removed?

- I doesn't see zombie in my world, only peacefull monster.

But if I type /help then I see the plugin MyZ, and I have everything installed. So I don't understand what the problem is and what to do..

EDIT: I saw that Citizens was not working correctly, I reinstalled it and it works now so never mind haha! :D

It's probably not enabling the plugin if the commands aren't working... Check the server log.

This plugin has a lot of bugs at the minute. Lets just hop it is fixed in the next update!

@TeeePeee

Is there a way to disable /mz commands all togetor? I only want the MineZ features and want to use other plugins for the random spawn.

The commands aren't working, I just cant type /mz spawn or something. If I do (For example /mz spawn) then it says '/mz' all the time. What should I do? :o

Please, help me. If i do /mz spawn i spawn on bedrock level and then i suffocated. And i cant change the Y coordinat. Can someone help ?

Sorry for hogging up the comments section. I just thought I'de post an overview of bugs that have been found as well as some cool suggestions I've come up with for future updates.

Bugs :

You receive the "your rank has expired" message every time you log in if the rank is not for a lifetime.
You cannot die of thirst.
The durability property on spawn kit items has problems.
When ZombieDeath is set to false. No loot is dropped from the players dead body.
MyZ will not work correctly if the world name is not -world.
People are experiencing TPS drops.

Suggestions :

Customizable baby zombie traits, health, damage ect.
Option to have a cool exploding effect when Pigzombies die. Exploding baby zombies shoot out from his center, instead of them just spawning from random postitions around the Pigzombie.
Option to have Pigzombies hostile on spawn. Since they won't go after you if you don't hit them.
Customizable item drops (With drop chances) for Zombies, Baby Zombies, Pigzombies and Giants.
A friending system, similar to minez. /mz friend <name> will friend a player making there tag a unique colour (Overrides healer/bandit tags). With an option to have PvP on/off with friended players.
Wearing a zombie head reduces your visibility to zombies, similar to rain / night in the config.
Monster spawner compatibility. Currently they don't spawn anything.
Option to de-spawn Player Zombies after X amount of time. Spawn points can get clustered with dead Players.
Option to remove a Player's Zombie once he rejoins the game.
Customizable intervals between bleeding / infection damage.
Option to give Player's who log in nearby other Players receive a slowness effect for a configurable time.
Allow for Y axis on spawn points, currently you spawn on top of things.
Perhaps grappling hooks could sling you towards where your aiming, similar to minez, instead of just teleporting you. As well as an option to specify the amount of durability used per use. So they're not too over powered.

Anyways, I hope you like some of those suggestions. Thank you for this amazing plugin once again :)

Is it just me or are the commands not working? i got everything installed (KBPL+Loot+Vault+Citizens2+MyZ+SQLibary) But it just doesn't work.. Someone help me plz?

EDIT: Commands work in my Console.

Is there a possibility to set also a Y for spawnpoints? Because sometimes, I spawn on the roof.
