MyZ
What is MyZ?
MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.
Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

I'll look into reasons why you wouldn't be getting a kit on spawn. Advanced med-kits are made with a clay brick with a lime dye and rose dye (clay brick + lime dye + red dye = advanced med-kit).
You can use essentials to give yourself the custom items. The bandage item is simply defined as the item you have configured (by default, a normal piece of paper).

When you die, your corpse becomes a zombie. Well really it just spawns a zombie with your head and armour. DisguiseCraft and Lib's Disguises are optional (one or the other, not both) for zombie player-ability. LibsDisguises is a world more reliable, improves NPCs and even lets you see your own disguise. For this reason, Lib's Disguises is strongly recommended.

Is there a command I can use to give my self custom items like the bandage?
IM also unsure how advanced med-kits work :S
Ive tried putting a plain clay brick in, ive tried with antiseptic, I've tried with ointment. and I've tried it all with the First aid kit >.< so confused :P I've also set the kits both the same for 1 and 0 but when I spawn in the world I spawn with nothing.

Unfortunately you cannot edit lootsets in-game. You can create a new one, open the chests.yml and cut paste the entries though.
To set the starting kit, equip/put the items you want to be in the kit in your inventory. Once you have the desired kit in your inventory, use /savekit <rank number>. All players with the rank specified will start with that kit now.
You can edit kits manually to make the armour soulbound or make its inventory contents inheritable (ie. players with higher ranks get the contents of their kit and one for a rank less than theirs).

It should be. Make sure you use /chestset <name of lootset>.

You've configured the name of the Research GUI to something too long in default.yml. Make sure it is less that 32 characters. The second issue is to do with you not having a player_npc_killed in a locale file. Make sure player_npc_killed is a string and not empty in all locale files.
I will not be posting a new build for awhile. I'm very busy with school at the time being.

I've translated the whole file in /locales/... into german. I've overwritten de_de.yml with the german translation. But its still writing everything in english, even when I turn my Minecraft in german. Is there a way to fix it? Also what is /mtranslate used for? I don't really get it, cause it only gives me a .txt file o.O Another thing, is it possible to expand the /research bar?

I will be disabling the server until you update it since it is not possible to play with it, at least in the version that I have which is necessary for me since it is compatible with all 1.7.x , thanks anyway! Please update it :)

Oh ok, it was because i forgot to use: /region flag spawnpoint1 mob-spawning deny ^^
But i got another problem now. The loot-system for chests doesn't seem to work for me. I've done everything like in the tutorial, but its not filling the chest with the lootset I've given to it.

You can disable the chat formatting of a rank in the config. It will remove the rank_prefix(es) of all ranks in chat. As for the update not taking, it's likely another plugin using an autoupdater and the command /update.

You can't prevent baby zombies from spawning.

I've heard rumors of this, too. Are you sure there are no hostile creatures (or any players) near the spawnpoints?

Posted Apr 12, 2014Is there a way to disable the whole rank thing, when i set people a rank their name hides when they speak (default:hello). also - looking in the console it shows a update is available, but when i do /update MyZ it comes up with a message saying ''No update was found.'' what to do?

/setrank command isn't working at all, when set some one to a rank. It is impossible to change their rank again. Also tried the myz.rank.<#> permission node, still doing the same thing.
