What is MyZ?

MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.

Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

The list of worlds under MultiWorld is all the worlds that are enabled. For example,

multiworld: - world - not_the_world

Will enable MyZ on the worlds 'world' and 'not_the_world'

Hopefully this makes sense.

It dosent say to enable it. in the config it just says:

mutliworld: - world

And then it says:

Npc: enabled: true

Go to the builds folder and then 1_7_2 (/builds/1_7_2) and click the newest jar file there. Then click raw (in the upper right) and it will begin downloading.

You must specify the world to enable in your config. By default, the only world that permits MyZ activity is in the world, 'world'.

Yes, it is available on the GitHub linked above in the description. For BukkitDev reasons, it was removed from this site.

To download the latest version ( 1.7.2 ).
The reason its on GitHub is because it is still awaiting approval from Bukkit. The build should be available to download via bukkit dev as soon as it get approved by Bukkit.

NOTICE
There are bugs with the 1.7.2 build of CRAFTBUKKIT. So if there is any bugs, Please report them to MrTeeHee so he can fix them, or if they are bukkit related, contact them and tell them about the bug.

The research point idea is really cool. I'll try to implement it as soon as possible after exams.

Yep! This is already on the to-do list. I'll try to push it in the next release.

These too will come. I'll try to expedite them, but bugfixes and administration will always take priority over the addition of new item features.

I try to deal with MyZ in rank-nodes, rather than permission nodes. I will add a rank number requirement, though. (Hopefully also in the next release).

Death loot is really a tricky thing to do for a couple reasons. As you probably know, configurable items are stored in not a very user friendly way via. the bukkit ConfigurationSerialization. This makes it a lot harder to make items configurable. With the addition of the /configure command in 3.0.6.301, it will make it easier and perhaps custom death loot as well as custom villager trading loot will find its way in.

Sure thing - another rank-node could be done. Should this rank-node also apply to the ability to research items (via. dropping them in hoppers)?

Hello TeePee!

Once again, I'm here to suggest a few things ;P

I think it would be an amazing idea to let research points, not only allow you to purchase items using the cool research GUI. But I think it would also be a great way to allow people to rank up. For example, upon getting a research point. The DB stores a variable of some sort, which identifies how many research points you have earnt (regardless if you've spent them or not!). So it's basically a sum of all RP earnt. Upon getting a research point, MyZ checks to see if you have enough earnt to level up. I think this would be a fantastic feature. And I personally would love this on my server. It would reward people for playing the game, while giving it extra replay value :)! Also, a command for this would be nice. For example, /rank gives :"Next level in X research points." - I hope that makes sense, let me know if it doesn't!

Would you be able to add some sort inheritance scheme for the rank starting items. It would be great to set wether a certain rank inherits items from the ranks below it or not. This would allow me to make every ranks starting items different. I don't really want high ranks inheriting the wooden swords that beginners start with for example :)

It would be great to see some old features back from the previous MyZ, such as the sticky rod (I loved that thing!), Also, if you do decide to bring that back, it would be great if it only works when the fishing rod's name is set to something in the config. For example, "Grappling Hook". Other nice things to see would be, snowballs, adrenaline sugar and grave digging:)

Could we have a new permission node and command allowing privileged players to choose their spawn, as seen in the old MyZ? This was a great perk for donators.

I like the idea of these survivors roaming around that you've added. It would be lovely to be able to customise loot which they drop upon death :)

A permission node for the research command would be nice too :)

My 3.0.6.3 is for 1.6.4 while 3.0.6.301 is for 1.7.2. Other than that, they're nearly identical.

I see, thanks for the quick responses. You're right there's no legbreaking, etc. That's another plugin I'm using also. I thought pigmen naturally spawned and giants did too. Unfortunately, I have to use two mods for just one. I like your plugin the best because I really love the idea of the CDS and medkits and research items.
