What is MyZ?

MyZ is not simply a Bukkit plugin. It is a complete re-imagination of Minecraft. Featuring a highly immersive new gamemode, MyZ aims to emulate and enhance a combination of DayZ and MineZ. With new mobs, items, chat features and more, MyZ has a lot to boast about and nearly endless opportunities.

Survive and prosper in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Be careful though - you'll have to pay close attention to your hunger, health, thirst, visibility and temperature. Not to mention the enhanced undead mobs and bosses. When you die - and you will die - become a zombie, or a ghost and get a second chance at surviving.

Thank you! That is fantastic news :) I can't wait for your next update ;) Oh, and a couple things I forgot to mention, as well as data values in kits. Enchantments and leather colour would also be a great addition :D! And a bug/problem i've stumbled across is that I can't get MyZ to work with stackable items installed :( Thats why I was getting errors in the console previously if you scroll down in the comments.

Yes, unfortunately :( I'll work on making it compatible with others though.
I will test mySql extensively in the coming days.
Mz rank required SQL, I'll add a message for that.

The problem with this is that the rank information is stored in a mySQL database. Executing the command lets the plugin know to update the information in the database.

Quick question:

When i start up the server, i get a message saying "Could not load (/plugins/MyZ.jar)", i am using the newest file 0.8.0, and its not working, what am i doing wrong?

Great work on the plugin so far! It's amazing! I appreciate all your hard work :) I have...

A few questions :

Do you have to use Group manager? Can you not use plugins like PEX instead?
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm pretty sure I've entered in all the details for the sql database correctly, and still I receive the message telling me its not enabled when I execute /mz score. Any idea?
Does the /mz rank command need the sql database enabled for it to work? Since when I perform the /mz rank command, I receive no indication as to whether its worked or not.

A few suggestions :

Could you support items with data values in the spawn kits, such as rose red, Right now it brakes the plugin.
Could we get a customizable message for when you join the game using /mz spawn.
It would be really cool if we were able to add a list of commands to perform when the player receives his kit.
Could we somehow customize the rate/strength at which zombies pull you in? In my opinion you get pulled in a little too strongly :)
Instead of having to use a command to force a player into a specific myZ rank, could we perhaps have a permission for each rank instead. For example, myz.rank.3 . In my opinion it would just seem simpler :)
Could we have an option to to enable/disable the way MyZ changes the chat. Since it just wipes any previous prefixes/suffixes the player had to their name :(

Still could add in settings function of shutdown of today's date (when calling on the server) as personally it isn't necessary to me.

Thanks for your work. Your plug-in isn't completed yet and some functions don't work, but it already the best.

Honestly, nobody should really have it until the dev bukkit staff have reviewed it... For this reason, I will not be providing any more links until it has been officially added. I'm not too sure what's going on with the citizens beta releases but hopefully it will be resolved by the time the official release of MyZ is released.

The problem with Mysql remained. To consoles writes nothing, mistakes any aren't present. In attempt to write / mz score writes in a chat an error of "SQL_NEEDED".

My settings:

ENABLED: true HOSTNAME: '127.0.0.1' PORT: '3306' DATABASE: 'imz' USERNAME: 'admin' PASSWORD: '123456'
