MyStatus - Very Simple AFK Plugin
MyStatus is a very simple addition to Bukkit which allows to change the status of a player.
Why Should I Use This Plugin?
Some plugin have already included this feature, like Essentials, but unfortunately not all. I prefere using sk89q's CommandBook and this currently not support a "Away From Keyboard" or "Do Not Disturb" function, so I needed to implement this on my own.
How Does It Work?
If you want to notify other players that you are AFK, you simply need to enter the command /afk. MyStatus will send a broadcast to every online player and add the prefix [AFK] in front of your name. If you are back to the keyboard, use the /noafk command to get back from AFK mode. The same way also works the commands /dnd (Do Not Disturb) and /nodnd.
Does The Plugin Protects Me?
Simple Answer: NO! This would allow to abuse the AFK function on my server, so I do not implemented such a function.

Posted Oct 6, 2011any chance that instead of the command for afk we can have a setting in a config file that allows us to set a time, and if the person doesn't press any keys for that time the AFK thing activates. and when they do press something again it turns it off.
just to identify who is really afk or not. plus it would make it easier
