Normally, there are no differents between Windows, Mac or Linux.
I upload a new version today, and send you a link to test it :D

That is the weirdest thing. Would the fact that I'm running the server on a mac (10.8/Mountain Lion) help to determine the problem?

Thats confusing me, normally, you only get this error when the plugin is compiled in Java 7 and a User has Java 6. On my Computer is also Java 7 update 21 installed and Im not getiing this error!

Hmm, still there. Is it ok if I were to open it with WinZip, extract the two files to my desktop, edit them like you mentioned and re added them to the plugin's .jar? I already checked to make sure they were being edited properly. The weird thing is that the error came up exactly the same.

If the error is still there, I have to upload a new version and fix it by me.

Fail by me! :D
Just open the MakeYourOwnCommands.jar, then open he file called plugin.yml and then go to version: and set it to 1.0.
Then go to config.yml and set checkForUpdates: to false
Plugin.yml should look like this:
version: 1.0
And config.yml should look like this:
checkForUpdates: false
Then save it, close the MakeYourOwnCommands.jar and restart the server.
