Separate inventories?
Yes, MyWorlds now supports per-world inventories. This feature is by default disabled, to enable it, set useWorldInventories to true in the config.yml. By default no worlds share inventories and player inventories are saved and loaded per world. To share inventories, use /world inventory merge followed up by the world names to merge. Split (or detach) gives all worlds specified a separate non-shared inventory. You can use /world inventory enable or disable to disable inventories for worlds. Enabled inventories will save data, disabled won't and result in all items being cleared.
Advice for having plugin-generated or flat worlds
The main world loads (and generates) before My Worlds enables. The Bukkit plugin architecture makes it impossible to load My Worlds before worlds load, since that causes some other incompatibilities. Anyway, if you want to have a 'main' world that is not a nether/the_end/overworld Vanilla world, you will have to do the following:
- Set up the main world to be anything you like (even if you don't use it on your server...you need one)
- Create a new world for the world type you want (flatworld, custom chunk generator, etc.)
- Stop the server and open up the config.yml of MyWorlds
- Change 'mainWorld' to your newly created custom world
- Start the server again and notice how new players join your custom world
- Optionally: disable the 'keep spawn in memory' for the 'server' main worlds (you are not using)
Just to avoid any confusions: it is impossible to let My Worlds alter or replace the main worlds generated by the server. If there is any fix to this or you know 'some way' to do it, let us know. We do consider halting the server enabling process asking for you to create the main worlds, after which enabling continues as usual. But for this, we need to disable the default main worlds from loading up.

Disclaimer (because things CAN go wrong)
I am not responsible for world damages done by this plugin or by certain commands this plugin performs. If you, for example, loaded 20 worlds and hosted it on a buggy computer with 30 players, odds are the server (and your computer) will crash and worlds become corrupted. Repair can fix worlds, but this does not recover damaged chunks, so don't think you are always covered. Also, never forget to make backups of your worlds, but I guess this is common sense... Just a warning for those that blame their own mistakes on the plugin developer :)
Metrics
This plugin sends server count statistics to MCStats.org. You can (globally) opt out in the PluginMetrics/config.yml file.

Like i have said to people in previous comments about this sadly you will have to moderate the nether portals for them by placing the signs under them, its just how the portals are handled. Nothing else you can really do about it.
@Geotan
I don't know what happened to the wiki page, I'm on the bukkit wiki IRC right now, and i will see what happened.... :S
EDIT: I could not get any reply on their IRC so I sent the person who deleted the page a e-mail asking if they could revert the delete until bergerkiller has the time to edit the bukkit dev page to add commands and perm nodes. Waiting on a reply, but I will post here on what happens.... kinda sucks that they just deleted it and there is not even any reason for the delete.
EDIT: I have revived a reply from the person who deleted the wiki post and basically he saying there was going to be a mass delete of those wiki pages and that he can't restore the wiki page unless he receives a e-mail from the plugin developer, in this case bergerkiller. So sadly looks like we will all have to hang tight until he has time to edit this page.

Yes but I would like my players to be able to make a Nether portal so I don't have to do anything.

Yes, your welcome :) .... I'm with 1.45 too :)
I haven't really had any major issues with it and i will stick with that version until i can disable the mulch-inventories.

Thanks for posting the ticket.
My problem is with people in Creative mode, because they can dupe the items over and lose all items from their survivor inventory, if there is a server restart, due to their permission that they will auto change back to survivor mode for a particular world.
I am using Limited Creative to have separate inventories between Survivor and Creative mode in a Survivor world. No problems with 1.4.5

I have made a ticket on that for everyone, if you want to have the option to turn on or off the inventories, vote up the comment :)

Just got to wait and see if bergerkiller will make it so we can have the option to disable the inventories.
@burgershot15
They are very simple to make, just make a frame for your portal and spawn in some portal and fill the frame with the portals. Put a sign under your portal that reads
[Portal]
Name_Of_This_Portal
Name_Of_Portal_You_Want_To_Link_To
Repeat this for your destination portal :)

Posted Jun 9, 2012I need to disable the multi inventory feature as it can be used to dupe on my server. I use AlphaChest (virtual chest with /chest), and if a player goes in to the nether, puts an item in their chest, then goes back to the main world they have two of that item.

Yes, this is a bug and has been reported, i think burgerkiller will fix this very soon.
@predawnia
Currently there is no way to do this, i have created a ticket asking for burgerkiller to possibly implement this soon, so we will see how that goes.... until then either deal with the inventories or go back to the v1.45 like i had to do, it only has 1 real minor bug, but that's not really a huge issue.

Posted Jun 8, 2012I was wondering. I've been using MyWorlds for a while but recently I've been having people throwing things through the portal. Is it a bug or a feature I have turned on.

Oh the portal issue again, you have to link the portal to a world.
Put a sign under the portal and type
[portal]
Name_this_portal
World_you_want_to_link_to

But could you get in through portals is the real problem. How I create the world won't matter to me.
