Separate inventories?
Yes, MyWorlds now supports per-world inventories. This feature is by default disabled, to enable it, set useWorldInventories to true in the config.yml. By default no worlds share inventories and player inventories are saved and loaded per world. To share inventories, use /world inventory merge followed up by the world names to merge. Split (or detach) gives all worlds specified a separate non-shared inventory. You can use /world inventory enable or disable to disable inventories for worlds. Enabled inventories will save data, disabled won't and result in all items being cleared.
Advice for having plugin-generated or flat worlds
The main world loads (and generates) before My Worlds enables. The Bukkit plugin architecture makes it impossible to load My Worlds before worlds load, since that causes some other incompatibilities. Anyway, if you want to have a 'main' world that is not a nether/the_end/overworld Vanilla world, you will have to do the following:
- Set up the main world to be anything you like (even if you don't use it on your server...you need one)
- Create a new world for the world type you want (flatworld, custom chunk generator, etc.)
- Stop the server and open up the config.yml of MyWorlds
- Change 'mainWorld' to your newly created custom world
- Start the server again and notice how new players join your custom world
- Optionally: disable the 'keep spawn in memory' for the 'server' main worlds (you are not using)
Just to avoid any confusions: it is impossible to let My Worlds alter or replace the main worlds generated by the server. If there is any fix to this or you know 'some way' to do it, let us know. We do consider halting the server enabling process asking for you to create the main worlds, after which enabling continues as usual. But for this, we need to disable the default main worlds from loading up.

I am not responsible for world damages done by this plugin or by certain commands this plugin performs. If you, for example, loaded 20 worlds and hosted it on a buggy computer with 30 players, odds are the server (and your computer) will crash and worlds become corrupted. Repair can fix worlds, but this does not recover damaged chunks, so don't think you are always covered. Also, never forget to make backups of your worlds, but I guess this is common sense... Just a warning for those that blame their own mistakes on the plugin developer :)

This plugin sends server count statistics to MCStats.org. You can (globally) opt out in the PluginMetrics/config.yml file.

Same issue as Monkill.
- I installed MyWorlds
- Created a new world 'JungleIsland' (seed: Artomix)
- Play in survival
- Build a Obsidian portal
- Light it up
-> No way to go the 'JungleIsland_nether'
- Created new world 'JungleIsland_nether' as Jarroda suggested
-> Still no way to go the 'JungleIsland_nether'

Posted May 11, 2012not quite sure whats going on but for some reason my worlds keep unloading and disappearing to the plugins eyes... the files for the worlds are still there but when i try to load those worlds it says cannot find... BUT i can create a new world with the exact same name and it runs through the building process again and loads the exact old world that was there before... this is kinda frustrating since i do have a creative world and when it bugged out the creative players were spawned in my survival world... of course this caused some headaches and I thought nothing of it until it happened again today to my Farm world... i'm only using 2 other worlds besides the standard world, nether, and end.

Posted May 9, 2012Hello guys.
I need some help with my permission setup. We use PermissionsEX with our server. Hence this plugin is not supported I asked myself if it is still possible to set permissions in the way I want.
Here is the setup.
I created a world named xyz.
Only specific users or groups should have access to this world.
I created these permissions in permissions.yml of bukkit since it's the only place I thought, till now, this would fit since PEX is not supported.
myworlds.world.enter.xyz
myworlds.portal.teleport.xyz
myworlds.world.teleport.xyz
myworlds.world.chat.*
My goal is that a user can do this: /world teleport xyz
What am I doing wrong? Is this setup possible?
I would be great if someone could give me a hand.

Are you having issues using the portals..?
If so you have to remember this plugin makes use of portals differently... you need to put a sign under the portal.
Top Line: [portal]
Second Line: Name_The_Portal
Third Line: World_Name or Portal_Name

Let me describe what I have: the world under the name "world", hell, under the name "world_nether" gates of hell are working fine, I created another world assume command "/world create non" created for him Hell "/world create non_nether" came into the world "non" built a portal to hell, get up at him and watching endless animation and will not warp.

Posted May 1, 2012I love this plugin but I just have one request: If it's possible create a option or permission that allows you to keep the same gamemode that you were on in a previous world in the world you teleport to.

Posted Apr 29, 2012I love this plugin, but i have one problem. Every time my server restarts the my worlds configuration changes and the mobs come back on in all worlds. Before the server restarts i will have it set to PEACEFUL and after it will be set at EASY. do you have any clue why it is doing that?

Posted Apr 25, 2012@ViscousSummer88 Ah so it wasn't caused by my hotswapping actions...I will definitely have to take a look at this then. Note that everything is a bit going slowly as there is development in all plugins, so I plan on fixing up TrainCarts first to make the switcher sign work properly and have automatic constants for text to fit more on the sign as before. Then I have to take a look at NoLagg to combine all components into one again, plus fix or remove some faulty systems...then I have enough time to fix up MyWorlds completely. I wanted to add multi-world inventory support as well, but having to manually load the player data files <is> a bit hard to do and can take several days to finish off. (I am not going to store inventories in the plugin folder in a new format, that makes no sense at all)
@TheSandwichMakr THIS is an important thing I need to fix up, but I'll have to dig into the native source code to find out where to step in.

Posted Apr 24, 2012Please add the new mobs such as ocelots and iron golems to the blockable mob list and could you add an option to disable drops and/or xp per-world? And either the seed changes really often orthe world generation changes really often since theres lots of noticable chunk borders and interestingly regen stopped working on flat map it seems irrelevent but possibly a switch to 64 bit java and a big hardware upgrade? maybe when transfering the files something broke

The commands should work fine if you use them correctly but no automation for unloading.
Get a extra plugin to execute commands in a time interval.

Posted Apr 21, 2012Is there a way to force an unload? like... I'm wanting to automate a world unload every hour... evacuate doesn't seem to do anything at all... and like.. I want it to just unload, i'd rather have the server have to restart and delete the player's inventory who are inside than have the unload fail.

Posted Apr 21, 2012Hello, i have not ever had a issue with this plugin but i have updated to the v1.45 and i have a creative world that has timed locked and now it will not stay at the timed locked. I have done /world save and /save-all yet still the time does not stay locked.
I have done /world time lock 1600 and it says time set to 4:00pm and then its fine. But, when the server reboots the time unlocks. When i look in the config after doing the command and doing /save-all and /world save the time lock does not show up in the config for the world:

I have tried to manually add the time lock to the config, but it will just remove it...... any ideas? No errors in the log or anything like that.
I have also noticed this '- time locking slightly altered in an attempt to fix redstone bugging' could this cuase the issue.....
