Portals
MyWorlds features a portal system to teleport players from one place to the other. If you want to remove a portal you lost, you can remove the saved portal data from:
root\plugins\My Worlds\portals.txt
There portals are listed with their position.
Introduction
Besides commands, this plugin comes with the simplest cross-world teleportation solution: Actual portals. Walk from world to world simply, by walking into a portal. It features both walking into Portal blocks and Water streams. To make a portal, all you have to do is make a sign and place a portal block nearby.
Three steps to get a fully functional portal working:
Place a sign under the ground
- on the first line: [portal]
- on the second line the portal name: Portal1
- on the third line the portal or world name to teleport to: Portal2
- optionally on the fourth line the destination display name (otherwise uses portal/world name on third line)
[portal] portal1 portal2 Portal 2
When used with 'portal enter' Permission, the name on the second line (portal1) is used.
Video demonstrating this feature here
Place a Portal or water stream nearby
- you can make a standard portal from obsidian and activate it
- you can stack Portal blocks (you can now actually build with them, custom portals!)
- to remove portals, remove the bottom (ground) block
- you can place a water stream near the sign, which teleports players when entered

Posted Oct 24, 2012I use this for my server Hub.StarGateMV.com
It's great.
but i have portals showing from worlds i've deleted.
I now know that i should have deleted the portals before the world.
Is there any way of cleaning them up?
I've tried making a world of the same name again, and remaking then destroying the portals but it doesn't work.
It's not affecting anything , i just like things clean thats all.

Posted Nov 11, 2012we are using water streams for portals but i've found doing so causes things like waterfalls and small dips in rivers in caves to teleport players to the nether :\

Posted Dec 4, 2012I find it helpful to disable the Nether if you guys haven't done that already. It tends to get in the way for me.

Posted Aug 24, 2013After random teleports to the nether while moving through water I disabled water portals altogether. I also have an issue where I randomly get teleported to the floor above the portal I'm traveling through. Anyone have a fix for this?

Posted Sep 25, 2013Is it possible to create a portal to a given location/coordinate in some world?
MultiVerse-Portals can do this but the coordinates i want this on seem to be out-of-range
If My Worlds supports this, which limitations does it have for coordinates?

The portal deliver you to assigned sign! See if the sign dont have 2 or more blocks spaces around then!

Posted Dec 4, 2013I am having a intermittent problem where one or more portal signs get moved from where they are in the ground, to being plastered to the block under the portal that it was standing in front of. This seems to have the effect of rendering the portal non-function so that entering it will now just take you to the nether. if I fix the sign, it still won't work unless I go remove and re-add it's counterpart. Any thoughts on why/how? I am trying removing that one block under the portal so there is nothing there for it to get plastered to. not sure yet if it's a good workaround or not though.
