About MuteManager

A plugin that provides a way to mute players for a specific amount of time. This plugin will connect to Mojang servers for UUID lookups.

How to install

Just drop the jar file in your plugins directory and restart your server. Configure permissions.

Permissions

mutemanager.mute - Allows players to use /mute (Default: op)
mutemanager.unmute - Allows players to use /unmute (Default: op)
mutemanager.mutelist- Allows players to use /mutelist (Default: op)
mutemanager.listen - Allows players to optionally hear muted players. (Default: false)
mutemanager.mutenotify - Receives notifications when a player is muted. (Default: op)
mutemanager.unmutenotify - Receives notifications when a player is unmuted. (Default: op)
mutemanager.reload - Allows players to use /mutereload. (Default: op)
mutemanager.muteexempt - Players with this are exempt from being muted. (Default: false)

Commands

Hint: Use * instead of player name to mute or unmute all players. Hint: To mute a person for 5 days you would do this: /mute player 5d reason

/mute [player|*] ([time(mhd)|perm]) ([reason])
/unmute [player|*]
/mutelist
/mutereload

Does MuteManager from June 23, 2015 work with craftbukkit1.8.7? When I enter the command :

/mute player 10m spamming

I get this error:

"An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command"

hi , I use deuxechat plugin and whehn players are mute they can still /msg , is this the chat or your plugin the issue to prevent ?

and in the config: Notify: true

Hi! I have a problem. When anyone staff player muted player. He is see a messege, but other staff players not see it. Permissions set! Config is a normal. Please help me and don't ignore. Thx :)

Hi! Can are upgrade your plugin? Can are you make prefix? Now(Example): ilyatat has muted ilyatat. Reason: 123 With my idea(Example): [Admin] ilyatat has muted [Admin] ilyatat. Reason: 123 Sorry for my english :)

when offline mute, the name is case sensitive

When i try to mute a offline player i get this error i get it with the last stable build and last dev

[11:19:06] [Server thread/INFO]: LalaDGSC issued server command: /mute Chrisser1337 1 [11:19:06] [Craft Scheduler Thread - 6/ERROR]: [MuteManager] Exception while running UUIDFetcher: Chrisk1337 [11:19:06] [Craft Scheduler Thread - 6/ERROR]: [MuteManager] null

The server is in offline mode becuase it on a hub.

If the reason is it on offline mode can you make a special version to hub servers :D

Latest dev build http://h.cnaude.org:8081/job/MuteManager/33/ has new permission node mutemanager.muteall for the * mute target. It also has a maximum mute time option MaxTime.

would you consider a feature to limit the time some players can mute for , don't really want all staff the ability to perm mute. Also I would like to have the option to not include * instead of player , or a permission to do all.

Latest build resolves these issues. In your message template use %AUTHOR% for the name person initiating the mute.

do you still update it? :)

and if you do it could be nice if you could do something:

the name on the player that mutes is there, example "Player1 have mutet player2 20min test"
i want it not to be case sensitive, so i dont have to write small and big letters
And if one staff gives i player mute in 5 minutes, and i want to give him 10, then i have to unmute the player first. Can you do so i dont have to unmute first?
