Multiworld
Craftbukkit 1.9 support!
Multiworld - The official Multiworld Project
The easy to use multiworld plugin, support custom end and nether worlds for each worlds, you can configure what you want, and you get it (limited to what I programmed)
History
I made this plugin because the previous author "Baummann", the original creator of Multiworld, became inactive. Before, it was just a simple plugin with 2 commands: /goto and /newworld. I took control of the project and developed a better version. We are now at version 5.2.8 of Multiworld.
Features
- Custom world generators like a world with deserts
- Allows you to change the gamemode of a player when you enters a world
- Supports relative coordinates with /mw move and /mw goto like the /teleport from vanila minecraft
- Block chat coming from other worlds to create worlds where the users have their own private chat

Other recommended plugins for your server

- hothgenerator - Generates a awesome snow world (Case sensitive)
/mw create WorldName plugin:HothGenerator
- multiinv - Allows more control between the inventories of worlds than multiworld can provide on its own.

After setting settings in a config, you have to
a.) Reload the config file
or
b.) Reload the plugin
or
c.) Reload the server
or
d.) Restart (Stop then Start) the server

Posted Mar 4, 2012Hi ferrybig.
I'm having an issue linking up Nether Portals in my created worlds using /mw link (I get the message: "The function you tried is not enabled, please enable it first."). I looked in the config.yml and I set the following values, and then reloaded the plugin, but the command still doesn't work.
useportalhandler: true useEndPortalHandler: true
Do I need to reload the server in order to make it work, or is there another setting I'm missing.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

EDIT: It was an issue with Orebfusticator. I had to use a beta build of it. Nothing to worry about for you!
That is the startup error.

Here is the error after I joined the server. This froze the client.

I JUST realized it is a conflict between Orebfusticator and your plugin. I will contact the author or Orebfusitcator.
Here is the error after I stop the server. This happened right after Orebfusticator had this similar error.

I'm contacting the other author right now!

Posted Mar 1, 2012Could you explain how nether and end portals work with your plugin? We are still having issues with them not working in the world we spawned with your plugin. A player enters a portal in our "world2" (built with your plugin) and it looks like they will go to the nether but they never do. But portals in our "world" (original map) do work.
Also, this is most likely not your plugin but how do end portals work? We had someone go through the end portal that spawned in the map and once they killed the dragon the portal disappeared. We tried to recreate the portal but the player just falls forever. I am hoping you could help me solve that issue. I'm not really sure how the end works at all.

mayby they spawn at the caves, and not at the surface, that can be the cause.

I do have worldedit and Mobs do spawn. What I am saying is not as many mobs spawn on difficulty hard on my server, compared to singleplayer.

the flag of monster spawning can also be the cause of the problem.
EDIT: if you have worldedit, you can do /butcher, to see if there are actually mobs at the world, that can stop the others from spawning.

Yes I know. I should retype what I said. A long time ago there was a monster spawning issue. Turned out it was because of difficulty being set to 0. Now, even on difficulty 3 monsters don't spawn so much. I'm checking again with NoLagg, but I'm coming to you just incase.

only the setting 0 disables monster spawn, the other make it possibly, like ssp Peacefull, easy, normal and hard. the difecalty dont affect monster spawning, unless its on peacefull but it affects the damage moobs does.

Then what does the difficulty do? A long time ago it was set to 0. Then I found out that that overrode the monster spawning difficulty in the server.properties. I set it to 3, yet not many monsters spawn. It is as if it were difficulty 3/4 or 1 (almost easy or easy).
