About MV2
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!
Multiverse is back! Is your server, a Multiverse?
Multiverse-Portals Features
- Restrict users from using specific portals with permissions
- Charge users to use specific portals!
- Exempt users from portal fees.
- Launch users through the air when they enter a Multiverse Portal!
- Allow minecarts/boats through Multiverse Portals
So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

Posted Jan 1, 2014Hello,
Everything works well except that my portals only works in game mode 1, not in game mode 0 or 2. Have an idea why ? I searched for hours in the internet, no answer found... Please excuse my english, i'm writing from France ;) thanks a lot !!!

Posted Dec 31, 2013I'm unable to create any portals. Instead, when using, it spams my console with a bunch of java errors. Everything else seems to be working fine (like the /mvtp command). Please update, or if you've given up on it, at least give it to some other programmer who is actually interested in keeping essential plugins like this up to date. I'm sorry, but last update for 1.2.5 while we're now at 1.7.2 is kinda ridiculous.

Posted Dec 28, 2013@ TFKO:
Thanks a lot for that info.
@ Portal-Team:
I still miss an official statement if there will be a fix in the near future. I had to post an the mv-core-site just to get the answere to write a ticket here (which is still not answered). Considering the fact that my question is about 11 days old this is quite a dissappointing style of communication. I still dont know if this problem bukkit- , mv-core- or mv-portals-related (well, TFKO's answere helped me a bit). And just you, the dev-team, do have a chance to know this. So at least a tiny snipet of information would be reeealy helpful, even if it is like "down-grade to bukkit-version XYZ and use mv-portals-AB-ZYX......" And for the snipet i would be grateful already.

Posted Dec 22, 2013Hey, once again - can you tell me if the bug that crashes a server when riding on a minecart through a portal to a different world is fixed in the near future? We are waiting for this feature since our server-concept is primarily based on it. We would have to change the whole concept - so please, a short answere would be awesome. Thanks, Moorleiche2k

Posted Dec 21, 2013@filotei12: I assume you changed the name of world manually in which of one of your portals is placed. Check world.yml for consistency.
@theperiodicman: You need to select and then link your portal to a world or another portal. you can check your results in portals.yml. It should contain an entry for ewch of your portal and if the correct "modify"command was used a line called "destinations". That line should look like (without quotation marks): "destination: p:thisportalsdestinationportalname".

Posted Dec 18, 2013Hi, I am desperatly waiting for a fix for a server-crash bugfix. The Crash occurs when riding on a minecart through a portal that is connected to a different portal on another world. We try to setup a new server and everything works fine but this. For our world this is a core feature. We are using the current stable dev-build of 2.5-b699 (official 2.4-AB-Build also doesn't work). A workaround would also be nice. Worst solution would be an alternativ till this issue is fixed.
Greetings and thanks for your effort on developing this
