About MV2
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!

- Restrict users from using specific portals with permissions
- Charge users to use specific portals!

So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

Posted Jul 31, 2012I was wondering if you can make a portal with 2 destinations, so that if you are one rank you go to one place and if you are another rank you go to another place?

Posted Jul 26, 2012Ok,so here is what I want to do: Have a portal that gets you in a different world but it spawns you randomly,never at the same location for a survival world,where everything is allowed,and I need players to start in a new unexplored area.Is this possible? If it isn't,could you add such a feature in the future?

I created a permission for that. You have to create or add a permission line for the groups or players you want to use portals.
The permission I used was: multiverse.portal.access.*
And it seemed to work.

Posted Jul 21, 2012Hey, I have a question. I am using multiverse portals, and it works great for me. However, when I try to ride a cart through a portal, I get kicked with a "moving too fast:Hacking?" error. How do I fix that? Thanks!

Posted Jul 18, 2012Hmm.. I have used ur plugin for a while and I LOVE IT! BUT would it be possible to get info from a ingame item? like in WorldGuard u have string..
IDK if this allready exist, or have been suggested before but, would been easier to see portalname and that if u have a big nice server with tons of portals

Posted Jul 16, 2012I use Multiverse-Inv and know how to have separate inventories. However, I want to do something slightly different: As it stands, players going back and forth do not bring their inventories through the portal, but I want it like this:
Player in World_A goes through portal to World_B. Their inventory does not go, but they still have it when they return to World_A. This is how it works now and I wish to leave it, but when players go from World_B back to World_A, I want the World_B inventory to be lost forever. I am talking items worn, carried and in inventory, not money. So each time they return to World_B, they are empty-handed.
Is this possible in Multiverse? If not, does anyone know any basic transworld portal plugin that can do this?

If I'm understanding you correctly, you want to have independent inventories in the creative world and the two survival worlds so people can't bring stuff back and forth? If so, you just need to install Multiverse-Inv and in the config where it looks like:
# In this example, world1 and world2 will share everything sharable.
# When things are shared this means they are the SAME for each world listed in the group.
# Options for shares: inventory, exp, health, hunger, beds
# Worlds not listed in a group will have a separate personal inventory/stats/bed UNLESS default_ungrouped_worlds is true
groups:
default:
worlds:
- SurvivalWorld1
- SurvivalWorld2
shares:
- all
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just don't put the creative world in the list and your inventories will remain separate. The two survival worlds will have shared inventories.

Posted Jul 16, 2012As for your permissions problem, if you go to your multiverse-core config.yml and set enforceaccess to true. In your permissions file you would just give what groups you want to access which world by doing 'multiverse.access.*worldname*. Maybe this will help, I use this on my 1.2.5 server, and it works just fine. You can group worlds together that you want to have sharing inventories in the groups.yml.

Posted Jul 15, 2012i run a survival server with three worlds, two survival worlds and my third world is creative is there or would there ever be a way to empty a players inventory when they were to enter the portal going to my creative world and vise versa? and set enforceportalaccess on individual portals so that players can enter but cant go back?
