About MV
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!
Multiverse is back! Is your server, a Multiverse?
Multiverse-NetherPortals Features
- Allow a nether per real world!
- Let nether portals built in a world go to a specific world
- Custom World Scaling when using NetherPortals! (All types of worlds, normal, skylands and nether supported! Even Custom generators!)
So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

Posted Sep 4, 2013For some reason the portals dont spawn me in other nether portals, or in the mv spawn point. is there anyway to fix this so I dont suffocate or end up in the End's void?
This plugin needs a major update. Actually, what they should do is just allow linking notch-style Nether and End portals in Multiverse-Core, and just get rid of this plugin altogether.

Posted Sep 1, 2013I noticed when you go to the end it does not spawn an obsidian platfrom at XYZ 100, 50, 0 but instead places you anywhere, which means you can suffocate underground, or fall from a high place. Please correct this. (I'm running the Sept. 1, 2013 build of MVNP and MV.)

People, download the plugin from here: http://ci.onarandombox.com/view/Multiverse/job/Multiverse-NetherPortals/
That's the latest version that works perfectly with Minecraft 1.6.2!
And, all the problems (portal not in the nether, spawning in netherreck/lava) are gone!

Just Go to where you want the people to spawn when they go threw the portal and type in this: /mv setspawn
Doing this will set the spawn for the world you are in

Posted Jul 30, 2013Just to make sure:
1. This works correctly with 1.6.x?
2. I can have a separate Nether for my Factions and Survival worlds?
- Example: I'd like players to be able to create their own nether portal in a Factions world and go to the Factions Nether, yet still be able to create a Nether portal in the Survival world and go to the Survival Nether, without ANY admin intervention. Is this possible?

Posted Jul 15, 2013Oh yeah and then there's of course the issue of your HTML, maybe whoever wrote this forgot to choose the correct Markup Language? Lol?

Posted Jul 15, 2013Whenever a player walks through a nether portal from an Earth world, they randomly spawn wherever in the world - whether that may be in lava, in nether rack, in/on/above/below bedrock, etc.
I'm not sure as if this error is the result of myself not doing something correctly, or perhaps the fact that the last update was for 1.2.5 back in April 2012.
(And I decided not to do a ticket because it appears as if a ton of other comments are regarding this issue or something similar :P )
