- Purge all those unwanted entities from your world!

- Custom World Scaling when using NetherPortals! (All types of worlds, normal, skylands and nether supported! Even custom generators!)

Posted Apr 2, 2012How does multiverse handle players who have logged off in a world which no longer is loaded?
Step 1: Player enters worldB
Step 2: Player logs off
Step 3: Admin uses /mv unload worldB
Step 4: Player logs in, spawns at his last coordinates, but in worldA (not at worldA's spawnpoint, but at his previous worldB coordinates within worldA). Also spawns with his worldB inventory & deletes his worldA inventory (using plugin WorldInventories), which is my main issue.
Is there any way to have multiverse check if a world still exists before attempting to place the player there?

Just negate the multiverse world permission for that world to the user group and that group cant go to said world.

Multiverse allows you to set whatever world mode you want for each world though... so the game type should be switching automatically whenever a player switches worlds. The thing it won't do though is keep the Creative and Survival inventories separated, which is why you need this plugin. You could also use MultiInv or their beta Inventories. Though for now I would trust MultiInv and WorldModes more.

Posted Mar 31, 2012Is there a way to make it so in certain worlds Creative mode is off limits? Say, I don't want a member that has creative to be able to do to the survival world and not play legit survival. So in the survival world he is switched to gamemode 0 and is unable to switch back to Creative..

Well oddly the portals have started working again after rebooting the server? Tried a reload from the game and still working so i guess it was a glitch.
Though Admin not changing gamemode is something i would like an answer to please :)

Im using a remote host (Daddycheese) so i dont know if its due to them applying an update but my portals have stopped working today and a direct tp command is giving the error "Multiverse doesn't know how to take you to <world>"
And second, this has been across all builds and each time i set up, so its most probably me not configuring it correctly. When i use the portal to a creative world my game mode doesnt change (I'm Admin) everyone else does, though this is only after i install PermissionsEX and set it up, before it all seems to work fine

My world name is GMC Server, when i try to remove it, it just shows the remove world options and stuff. I have tried it with no spaces and an _ but neither work.

Where did you get "2.4-b251"? There's nothing on Jenkins with that build number (core is at build 525 but it's 10 days old, and Portals is at build 540. I'm getting errors with Multiverse-Portals, making them unusable. :(
Edit: I just tried build 521 for both core and portals, thinking it was maybe a typo, but I'm still getting errors with portals, although the error is different than with build 540. <sigh>
