You can check multiverse off your list (dev builds: ci.onarandombox.com) but we won't release an Awesome Build until CB releases a 1.2 RB. Dev build of CB == Dev build of MV.

Again. You forget rule #1. Multiverse doesn't actually do anything. It's kinda funny how when a stable bukkit RB comes out, MV seems to be stable. That's no coincidence :)
See below post by me (world conversion)

If you would watch the CraftBukkit git repos, you'd know that this was NOT multiverse, but infact craftbukkit. I submitted a patch and it got accepted.
Please check before pointing fingers :)

Posted Mar 3, 2012My players are getting the same teleport to spawn when relogging, and additionally they also get a message of "sorry you can't be in this world anymore!"
They can play just fine it appears, but for some reason it's giving that message.

What you said makes sense, but after doing as you say my worlds don't show as needing to be converted in singleplayer and just load up blank maps

I agree, Multiverse is the last plugin I need (and also a pretty vital one) before I can update my server. If we have some info on this then maybe I can pass that info onto my users, who are eagerly awaiting the update.

Posted Mar 3, 2012To all the MV devs: can any of you respond regarding 1.2 issues? I think we all still know it's early in the new release cycle and are understanding. However, since you are a key plugin for our servers and we are crippled without MV support, if you could give some idea of where things stand with 1.2, I'm sure everyone here would appreciate it. I know I would. Thanks for your efforts!

Posted Mar 3, 2012Everyone who "lost" there world due to the multiverse conversion READ THIS
I tried to convert my worlds to 1.2 using multiverse core, and from reading the comments I see other people have to.
Multiverse is NOT deleting/overwriting your world it is simply not converting your world and generates new .mca chunks.
How to recover: [backing up your world is advised] 1. Open up your world folder you want to convert to 1.2
2. Then open the "region" folder You'll see 2 file types .mca and .mcr
3. Delete all the .mca files NOT .mcr be careful which ones your deleting (.mca files are the new file type.)
4. Now copy your world folder to your computers minecraft saves folder. (This is assuming you're hosting minecraft off an actual server). If your hosting multiplayer off your computer just copy your world over to minecraft saves folder
5. Now start up minecraft and go to single player, your world should be there and it should say it has to be converted. Click play selected world and it will convert it automatically
6. After its done converting your world original world should be there. Just copy your world back to your server, or your server folder if your hosting it off your computer.
7.Start the server, and your world should be good to go now.
Note* This is assuming you've tried to import your world with multiverse, if you haven't imported your world with multiverse yet, you can convert your world(s) with vanilla minecraft server or bukkit minecraft server individually. Deleting the .mca files and then starting your server for some odd reason does not convert your world to 1.2 and acts the same as multiverse which just generates new chunks(tested this with vanilla and bukkit).
I kinda wrote this up quickly so if something isn't clear email me at

I have the same problem. Just convert them in singleplayer. That's what I do, then I upload them back to the server.
