MultiVerse writes to its own config when the server stops. You'll need to stop your server, edit it, then start your server.

Backup your world and if the clone for whatever reason (server resource usage will be the main/only one) it fails, you can restore from a backup.

The map file, by the way, is about 17gb.

Posted May 7, 2016Hello there. I can't find any documentation on the clone command, thought it appears to still be there. I'm running 2.5b691.
I'd like to make a copy of a new and really big map without disturbing the rest of the server's functionality. We get 20-50 players on, and I'd rather not interrupt that. Will the clone feature be able to copy the world properly?
The only reason I ask is because I get a prompt asking me to confirm that using the command might break something. What will it break?

Use /mv remove <name> and then you can delete the world folder.
@adam15641
respawnworld: worldname
It depends on what your respawn plugin manages

Posted May 6, 2016Hello, I am having an issue where Multiverse will not allow me to delete worlds. I have tried to delete the worlds using the in game commands and by going into my server files and deleting the generated folders and deleting the worlds from the worlds.yml file but after i do that and reload my server, the files just appear again and it's like I have done nothing at all. Any information on what to do is greatly appreciated.*If any configs or files are needed please let me know.* Thank you

Posted May 3, 2016So I noticed Multiverse has been updated to 1.9, but Portals, Nether Portals, Sign Portals haven't been update at all. Is that normal, does Multiverse work with out those plugins now?

Have you added more worlds? Are you using a shared host? Have you added any plugins that connect to external databases?
@Kinlamaru
The latter is already the case. With regards to permanent world time, make a ticket on our ticket system on github :)

Posted Apr 29, 2016please make it so that we have the option to set a permanent world time in the worlds.yml. also that a nether and end can be naturally generated with an imported world.

Posted Apr 25, 2016Hello, I'm not sure if this is a MVCore issue or not, but for some reason, recently it takes a much longer time to boot up my server and it looks like it's due to the fact that it takes a while "preparing spawn" of each of my worlds (everytime I reboot my server). Is there some particular reason why this may be taking longer than usual? Thanks!
