Posted May 15, 2013Hey there! Wonderful plugin, but I'm having issues with Multiverse remembering the full name of a server after restart. What I mean by this is; I have 5 servers & these are their folder names.
Naberius(PVP)[1.5.x] (default world) Solvium(PVP)[1.4.7] Arcycius(PVE)[1.3.2] Royalion(PVP)[1.2.5] Pandonia(PVE)[1.1.2]
However in the Multiverse-core/worlds config file they are seen as.
Naberius(PVP)[1: Solvium(PVP)[1: Arcycius(PVE)[1: Royalion(PVP)[1: Pandonia(PVE)[1:
This results in them being unable to load correctly & thus needing to be re-imported anytime I start the server back up. It seems that Multiverse doesn't recognize the full folder name if it has a (.) "period" anywhere in the name & cuts off recognition at said period. I've been able to get around this by switching all of the (.) periods to (-) hyphens, which makes the main server folder look messier than what I would like it to.
All & all, wonderful plugin.. This isn't that big of a deal, but its my only gripe. So if it's not too monotonous/time consuming do you think you could make multiverse recognize the (.) periods in the server folder name during the next update? Please & Thank you! =)

Posted May 15, 2013some of these people who run servers. You gotta wonder. You have such basic problems. yet you bitch or complain... When really its no ones problem but your own for some issues. It's funy when people yell at plugin dev's because there plugin fucked there server up.
Well news flash for ya, 60% of the time, its not the plugin.
But its your server and how you have things layd out. Dont bitch at a plugin designer. They only help.
Anyway. Ihad had no problem at all since bukkit keeps doing USELESS FRIKAN updates. Has caused my server and plugins to do really weird things..one issue I had. Multiverse randomly generated a world and set it is a the mainworld. I deleted the world from the server and from multiverse but than found out. Multiverse re-generated it again. It's caused alot of errors and things to go wrong.
PS. I can fix it. Im just asking why is it doing that, or how

Posted May 14, 2013Hello, having a small problem, in my 1.5.1 I am unable to delete any worlds, it says error removing world from config. I am running the latest build, as doing so was a reccomended suggestion, but did not fix the problem

Posted May 14, 2013I have been editing worlds.yml to change things like "hidden:" to make it not show the world you are on and setting "spawn:" to false on creative world so monsters & animals do not spawn and all this works fine..
BUT the one that that doesn't work is gameMode , i have changed it from SURVIVAL to CREATIVE on the world i made specifically for creative mode - and yet it does not update, when i enter the world in survival mode as OP or DEFAULT, it does not change my mode to creative. Is this a bug, or am i missing something?

Posted May 14, 2013This is a terrible plugin! I tried to add it to my plugins folder, and all it did was delete ALL MY FREAKING MEMORY, OTHER PLUGINS AND CRASHED MY SERVER! WHY!!!!!

Posted May 13, 2013How do you change the direction you stand when you spawn? New players spawn in the wrong direction. I have done /setspawn and /mv setspawn correctly, but the direction is still wrong.

Posted May 13, 2013The server is running factions, and the respawning is working where if a player is not in a faction, and they die, they spawn in the air in a development world and just continuously die over and over again until they get tired of dying and quit the server. This is a serious problem and we need help with it asap.

Posted May 13, 2013when I try to import maps, they appear with parts missing. I know they are imported correctly and everything is fine. I fear it might be the plugin version not up to date with the server. Help anyone? Why might this be happening? Do I need a certain map version?

Posted May 13, 2013t says you can disable flying in a world (https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/wiki/World-properties) but when i type /mvm set flight false in-game it says "you can't set "flight". How can I fix this?

About reload breaking server.
I have been using about 30 plugins and hardcore testing them over the last few months. I'm not satisfied with your comment. Yours is the only one that has ever cause any type of issue with reload command. and it never used to. I posted about the bug because it was never an issue before and was something new to one of those builds .....

Thanks. Will that reset end map new but not touch player data? I guess that will work for the main world too but what if I needed to delete that main world? Will I always have to keep the main world folder with the player data or can I merge that data to the new world? Does the ingame MV command "Delete World" Delete that player data as well, or does it leave it alone?
