Did you also have Mob Arena? Someone told me that it can be done if you have that plugin.

Do you have Multiverse-Inventories? If so, can you tell us how to recreate the glitch?

I had the same issue. One normal player, default rank, was able to carry silverfish spawn eggs over from a creative world.

Make sure those players don't have the bypass node to keep the gamemode type from the previous world they were in.
@WoZo
Never heard of/ran into this before. Also, we need to know how to do this glitch before the devs can do anything about it. If you're really worried, I suggest you get a plugin that limits creative, such as SafeCreative, which allows you to clear inventories on gamemode change.

Posted Feb 26, 2013There's a glitch that lets you take items from a creative world into survival world. It involves teleporting through a few different worlds. I have Multiverse Inventories. Not sure how to re-create the problem though. Anyone know about this?

Posted Feb 25, 2013Hey, multiverse used to automatically change players' gamemodes to the world's default when first entering it, but now keeps their gamemode from the previous world. Is there a way to make it so that players will be automatically gamemode changed when entering a world?

You can't really find out what version the plugin was compiled against on Jenkins. But if you're running the latest Bukkit/Spigot build and the newest MV dev builds, you shouldn't run into any incompatibility issues. MV is always updated to support any new versions of Bukkit.
If you want MV-Inventories on 1.4.7, use build #335: http://ci.onarandombox.com/job/Multiverse-Inventories/335/

Posted Feb 25, 2013Ive been using Multiverse,MV Portals and MV Inventories for a while and they are all stable and working well. Just two features I cant seem to find.
1) Separate economies on different worlds (different survival worlds or survival/creative) 2) Clear an inventory (including armor) on entering a world (adventure maps in separate worlds). example: someone goes back to spawn and comes back.
Ive tried a number of things and cant seem to make either happen. Essentials v2.10.1 (for economy) Multiverse-Core v2.5-b654 Multiverse-Inventories v2.5-b335 Multiverse-Portals v2.5-b670 Multiverse-Adventure v2.5-b658
Am I missing something or do these features not exist yet. Thanks.

Thanks for your response! I had no idea they were working on a new version. That explains quite a bit. Too bad they haven't posted a note on this page to let people know.
I was able to find the latest dev builds before, but the problem I was running into was that I had no idea which dev versions supported which bukkit/minecraft version. Is there any way to tell that?
I assume the latest ones support 1.4.7, but specifically for Inventories, I'll have to go back a couple versions to get one without build errors. Is there any way to know if that one supports 1.4.7?
Thanks again!

Well I think they're more focused on Multiverse 3 development right now or simply have not had the time to thoroughly test the newer builds due to possibly something in real life.
There's actually nothing wrong with the dev builds and it is seriously recommended that you use them so you don't run into any serious errors and ensure that MV is running smoothly.
Now about the Jenkins build server, you need to get used to how it works. Pretty much all BukkitDev authors use Jenkins for dev builds of their plugins! It's really simple. You just go down the build list and find the latest good build (with a green dot). Usually, bad builds (with a red dot) won't have download. Up where it says "Build Artifacts", you need to find the actual plugin .jar. On the Multiverse CI server, the actual plugin should be on the bottom of the list without any suffix (like "-javadoc" or "-sources" - you don't want to use those).

Posted Feb 24, 2013I have a bukkit server that's currently running Minecraft 1.4.5. I'd like to update to 1.4.7, but MultiVerse is the only plugin left that has not updated. I know there are dev builds, but 1) I'd prefer to use release versions and 2) the dev website is completely confusing.
Can someone tell me why there hasn't been an "awesome build" since April 2012? I would normally assume the project is dead, but there seems to be some activity on the dev website. Is the awesome build system being abandoned for a perpetual beta system?
If my only choice is to use a dev build, can someone please tell me how to figure out which dev version supports Minecraft 1.4.7? I would just download the latest, but I need MultiVerse Inventories, and the latest versions of that seem to have build errors. Is that version still safe to use?
Worst case scenario, does anyone know of another plugin that provides similar functionality?
I appreciate any help that I can get.
Thanks!
