You can't prevent the default worlds (world, world_nether, world_the_end) from regenerating.

I had this problem too. I wasn't able to figure it out, but if you have essentials, you can use the command /setspawn. That should hopefully set the spawn point to wherever you want it. In addition, players can use the /sethome command to set where their home is. That's how players on my server do it.

Did you delete the world folder AND the world data from your worlds.yml file?

Posted Feb 24, 2013Hey, I just installed Mo' Creatures on my MCPC+ server, and I'm also using Multiverse. However, for some reason, the extra mobs are only spawning in one world, and in the other worlds, vanilla mob spawns are very rare. Also, hostile mobs no longer spawn in any worlds other than the one where the extra mobs do. What do I do?

Posted Feb 23, 2013Is there a way on this plugin to stop peoples inventories from carrying across from one world to another. I.e. they have seperate inventories for different worlds.
Thanks

@Maxi_der_Fels
The problem you two are having is most likely that you are editing the config while the server is running. You need to stop the server, then edit the config, save it and then start the server again. Otherwise multiverse will save the loaded config to disk on server shutdown.
Or you could simply change the options using commands ingame.
Refer to: https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/blob/master/src/main/java/com/onarandombox/MultiverseCore/MultiverseCore.java#L827 and https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/blob/master/src/main/java/com/onarandombox/MultiverseCore/MultiverseCore.java#L1168-L1170
I personaly suggest to remove that behavior.

Posted Feb 23, 2013Would be great if this actually stopped the creation of any portal, via this pl or the normal nether portals via flint/charge/whatever else causes their creation in the future.
In short, admins would be the only ones able to make a portal of any kind what so ever.
No plugin does this, not world guard (if it ever did it no longer does), nada.
Far as I can tell this is only good for programming portals to go to specific points, awesome in its own right but for a frustrated admin spending countless hours/days looking for a solution this was the most promising thing.. an yet.. sigh.

I am using TextWrangler and it is made for YAML files. So the plugin is what is doing it. I don't want MultiVerse to touch my chat what so ever. Once I installed this my chat was really laggy. I'd type something in at it show 5 seconds later.

You sound like a tool, if you're going to ask people for help try to find a better attitude.
