Posted Feb 21, 2013Well. This is an absolute disaster of a plugin. I edit the config and restart the server. Oh would you look at the config! Its back to the defaults. This is really wasting my time. If you can help me set this up for my server, PM me. Preferably one of the developers please. The annoying freaken chat prefix is crap too. But I can't even remove that. This plugin looks great if it were to work and be updated so its not a complete waste of my time.

@CC3475
You have the wrong plugin/page. Multiverse does not have a gamemode change command.

Posted Feb 21, 2013Hi Devs thanks for the great plugin I'm setting it up right now.
I have a question/feature request, do you think it's possible to set it up so that different worlds can use different server textures?
I'd be willing to dust off my Java to make a plug in that would add this feature but I wanted to know what you guys thought/if you already have done it.
Thanks

Yes!
@igwb
You can always find the latest updates here: http://ci.onarandombox.com/job/Multiverse-Core/
@mewetea119
There's a whole Multiverse plugin that does just that. I've never used it, but I believe it's going to achieve what you're looking for ("Let nether portals built in a world go to a specific world").

is this a multiverse issue?
i just want all the worlds to link to the same nether when i try to manual make a portal it doesnt work.

Posted Feb 20, 2013Hey i'm having a couple of problems with multiverse:
the first promblem is each time i reset the server the worlds are no longer connected and i have to reimport them, however they form an internal error. They work for a long as the server is not reset.
The internal error crops up again when i generate new worlds to connect too.
I'm using multiverse portals along with this. so any ideas?

Edit the config file while the server is shut down, and make sure you're using a proper text editor such as Notepad++ or Sublime Text.

Posted Feb 19, 2013Is MV supposed to use the spawn-limits settings from bukkit.yml for each world? I see you can override spawn-rate per world in worlds.yml but there doesn't seem to be an MV world settings for spawn-limits (max # of animals/mobs per chunk). I changed the spawn-limits for animals from 15 to 2 in my bukkit.yml and I still got the same number of animals I had before. I know there are other plugins for controlling mobs but it just seems the MV added configuration for one setting here and left the other one out.
Thanks.

It really depends on how many chunks and mobs are usually loaded.
