i have another question is it possible to add an option to copy an existing world every X hours.
example: a world with "hunt for the wool" is loaded every 2 hours for new games. so something like a worldbackup that is loaded every x hours.

Yeh there were some dev-builds in the meantime that were actually stable and worked almost flawslessly... tha last one was in december iirc. Since 1.4.7 none of the builds have been stable/functioning enough yet i tested the last ones and would wait a few more days until there are a few more devbuilds.

Posted Feb 10, 2013I have been using multiverse since about a year ago and I have liked it, but this is getting ...crazy. Why no update yet? don't tell me to use the latest dev build because I am and it messes with pvp. Do no tell me its only me, because I have seen others complain about the same thing.
Whats up guys? whats going on? I feel like this is taking far to long. 6 of you guys doing this plugin. I appreciate all of you for keeping this plugin going and even making it, but If you don't have the time for it... make it inactive and move on so I know to switch.
multiworld has been updated for a while now, really thinking about switching over, but sadly I just do not have the time atm.
please update this, I am a huge fan of this plugin and I do not want to sound like a complainer/ cry baby...
Just really really sick of waiting and so it my whole server.

they are working on the nether portal search strings, expect it to work properly again i future dev-builds and Awesome builts. And BTW, everybody has this problem, new portals created, different exits for different players etc. Thats why I don't update since november and wait for AB

Posted Feb 10, 2013Hi. Not sure how to fix my problems with the Nether Portals. I am using MVNP, MVP, MVC on our server, and all was fine until someone lit some nether portals using firecharge (Portals are done by Admin on my server and the portal that was lit by firecharge was done by a regular player). Since then when entering a Nether Portal from World, it not always takes us to the same spot, and when coming back using a portal it very often creates a new 'rouge' portal in world. Sometime in the air, sometime underground and sometime it takes out a wall in someone's house. Any ideas on how i can go about fixing it?

I got two question which one or maybe even both have asked multiple times already heh, but going through all the posts is a lot.
1) Will there be a option later on to add gamemode adventure to the list ? I see Survival and Creative is but not Adventure (Set the mode per world (creative or survival) )
2) Any updates on 1.4.7? Got the feeling by the time 1.4.7 is out 1.5.0 will be out..

I'm using Multiverse Inventories and is there anyway to import inventories from default worlds? Currently I am converting a pre-established vanilla minecraft server over to bukkit.
The Server had different worlds, thus we decided that best way would be to switch to bukkit so that we could switch between worlds without restarting the server and without forcing everyone to go to that world.
However, I am currently unable to set it up so that people retain their inventories.

Posted Feb 7, 2013Hello all! Ok so I'm testing MV 2.5-b641 with CB 1.4.7-R1.0 and MV threw an exception while executing the /mv generators command.
This was given for each plugin that isn't a world generator but that's not severe in my oppinion. The exception is as follows;
I haven't ran into any other problems with these versions. If you want, I can test these same versions with no other plugins installed. Also, if you have any other beta updates, I would be happy to test those as well. PM me with links to the betas and I'll test them with and without other plugins. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :/ Let me know if I can help.

I'm using Multiverse and Multiverse Inventories. I also have Essentials. In the config for Essentials I set the property:
respawn-listener-priority: lowest
So that Multiverse handles the respawning. So I teleported to a world. IN this world, if a player dies in it,they should respawn in that same world so I typed the command:
/mv modify set respawn Factioned
However, when the player dies, they keep respawning in the main world called Mystic. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks!
