Posted Aug 14, 2012I don't know if this has already been mentioned, since the comment I saw that could be relevant to what I'm posting is pretty vague... but... I found an error. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not so, here goes. On Dev. Build 578 it seems that I cannot change the gamemode for worlds. I've tried typing the gamemode out (creative, for example) just a number (1 for another example) and it doesn't seem to work. All the other settings I set (color and Alias) seem to work just fine. I'm also running Portals Dev Build 595, if that makes a difference.
BT Dubs, it says that setting the gamemode was a success, even though it so clearly wasn't since I'm unable to access Creative Mode.
Thanks in advanced!

Posted Aug 13, 2012When we have Multiverse-NetherPortals (2.4AB) enabled in Bukkit 1.3.1R1, Exit Portals in The End break on entering. They get totally destroyed. The only way to get an Exit Portal back is by respawning the Enderdragon and destroying him.
When we have Multiverse-NetherPortals disabled, the Exit Portal does not get destroyed, but it doesn't warp us back.
So until there's a solution, I have build a fence round the Exit Portal, and created a regular Multiverse-Portal to get out of The End.
What's going on here? Thanks in advance!

Posted Aug 13, 2012Hi, I'm trying to use the bukkit entity teleport command to travel between worlds. It switches my world, but keeps me at whatever coordinates I teleported from, regardless of what location I pass into it. Even if I try to programmatically dispatch the "/mvtp e:world:0,0,0" command, it does the same thing (although it works from the in-game command line). Am I missing something here? I'm using the latest dev build, 577. Thanks!

Hi, I'm having the same issue as the other guys, my config reset after I updated to build #577, and now it shows the prefix even though I keep disabling it and restarting.

Posted Aug 13, 2012Im using the latest Multiverse Dev Build and it's not allowing me to change anything in the config. I can change it and save it but once it loads up again it goes back to the normal default config. I tried to change prefix chat from 'true' to 'false' but wouldn't save.
Any solutions?

How would you create a large biome world if you wanted to make one?

What build of multiverse are you running? 577 or lower? its great the ingame command for config prefixchat works for you but I need to know what build it works with because it does not work with 577.

Posted Aug 13, 2012I would assume the newer versions would accept the old ones, most of the changes nowadays are compatibility changes. I updated all my plugins today as i was still running the ones from mc 1.2.5
multiverse core was included in this update (i used the latest Dev build) so far i have build and teleported between a few worlds and nothing seems to have removed itself (i can't assume this is proof that this isn't a bug some people are having with multiverse, because i currently have over 20 plugins, and it is possible one of them may have solved the bug for me. but yeah, so far i have had no problems since updating.
for the larger biomes thing i would suggest testing it out. but also to clarify, I normaly don't create my world using multiverse, i am using it purely as a link between them to load them on start up. the only word i created with it was the one from the plugin Plotme while i was testing it
also i don't use multiverse portals or inventories, so that is another thing that sadly you must test for yourself

Posted Aug 12, 2012Do the dev builds support large biomes?
Also, will these new builds support the older builds of multiverse portals and inventories?

Posted Aug 12, 2012if you are going to use this don't use the version on here, get a dev build and try that before you complain the one on here hasn't been updated since April, the one on there was updated yesterday, but yeah if your still having problems, not much you can do about it until the authors get stuck in and fix it, so just find another plugin even if it is a temp fix, and check back here often.
i know how annoying outdated plugins can be
