Posted Jul 24, 2012Maybe someone can help me. I only have 4gb of ram and I tried to make a skylands. Well that cause almost the 4 to be used just for that and well you can see how that is not a good thing cause I was almost instantly kicked from my server the server kept creating the skylands up until about 81% where a error flew up and crashed the server so need some help Edit I was able to import the skylands world after I got the server running again but only the spawn area looked correct everything else was chunk errors with huge chunks of land missing and that does not look nice by any means.

Yes, I have done it in my server. Use multiverse for different worlds and then if you want to do the PVP thing, use Modifyworld. In modify world you can give people permission to pvp in only one world and not the other. I accidentally replied with this answer to someone else's question, simply a mis-click with the reply button.

you could take the /spawnmob permission away from the admins in your creative world, using -essentials.spawnmob
I think you could just periodically run /mv purge WORLDNAME all I haven't tried this, but using essentials, with the backup feature I think you could set the command to mv purge creativeworld all then set it to run every 10 minutes or something, that way every 10 minutes all entities in teh creative world would be removed.

If no one has answered this already, here.\
In your permissions system, give the players the faction permissions for one world, and not the other, then they can't use factions in any world you don't give them permissions.

Yes, just act as if you are generating the world in multiverse, by typing /mv create WORLDNAME normal then shut down hte server and replace the contents of that world folder with the contents of your single player world folder. the game mode might not be the same though, so you can use /mv modify set WORLDNAME gamemode GAMEMODETOSETTO

use the command /mv modify set WORLDNAME monsters false I believe :)
EDIT: I don't think you can lock time using multiverse, but you could use http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/timelock/ Timelock

Posted Jul 22, 2012Hi. I just have two questions. 1. How do I make it so that monsters can't spawn in a specific world? 2. Is there a way at all to make it eternal night in a specific world. It would save me having to go find a plugin that does it.

Posted Jul 21, 2012For some reason, both of my creative worlds have the occasional mob spawning in them, and admin are able to use /spawnmob (part of essentials) to spawn mobs in.
This never used to be the case, and i have double checked the config for both worlds and they both have 'animals: false' and 'monsters: false'.
Nothing i can do about the villagers at this stage, but i don't know why the other 2 are spawning them.
We did have an issue the other day where multiverse forgot about all our worlds (i installed buycraft and i think it internally did a /reload, which is a bad news command anyway), a restart of the server fixed the issue though.

Do you have essentials installed? and are you using essentials-spawn? cos if so, there is probably your answer.
Otherwise, you can use /mvm spawn (or something like that)

Posted Jul 20, 2012I have a world called Nexus where I want all my players to spawn first time and on death.
However, whenever they die it's taking them to the spawn in the default world. How do I fix this?
Also /spawn is sending them to 'world' which is a world I don't even want to use.
