MOTD Randomizer
Have you ever wanted to have multiple MOTD'S That appear randomly on your server?
Well, this is the plugin for you!
It allows you to set multiple MOTD'S in a config file then everytime someone refreshes the multiplayer menu, it will display a new MOTD. This plugin also supports a fake max player option. In the config there is a option (slots) that can be any number you like! Positive or Negative! If you don't want this feature, just set "enabled" to false!
Features:
- No commands!
- Supports colour codes!
- Toggle-able randomization feature!
- Very light weight!
- Easy config file!!
- Fake Max player setting! (Can be negative!)!
Screenshots of the plugin:

If you have any suggestions/features on how to make this plugin better, please post them below!

It's possible. Several developers have already done this. Check out packets.

This is not possible. There is no way to tell what player is viewing the server and even if there was, the motd cannot be per player. Each time a player refreshed/checked their server list, this event would run and the server would change its motd. Somebody could just keep clicking refresh for a few minutes; crashing the server.

Posted Feb 25, 2014Add <player> so when ever you add <player> it will show your name in the motd. Example: "CaLxCyMru, I Command You To Join Viral Aftermath!"

Hey! Sorry for the long await! I have been busy with my server the last couple of days.
I am going to put this on hold until the middle of next week; Need to release my server and all! Hope you understand! If you want a server icon just simply place a 64x64 image in the server directory ( where you have the .jar and server.properties and call it "server-icon.png" :)

Posted Feb 18, 2014@marium0505 I'll see if I can work on it tonight. Need to work on my server also!
Ill add commands and the server icon; it will behave in the sane way as the MOTD

Nothing wrong about that, its great that its easy to configure in the configs, but I generally prefer editing things by commands if possible. :) :P
This plugin has the MOTD icon feature, http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/motdcolor/ ... if you needed to see how someone did it. :)
(I'm currently using that one, but its developer hasn't been online for a while and hasn't added support for multiline yet, which is something I need. :) )

Posted Feb 18, 2014Hey marium0505!
I didn't add commands to start because I wanted it to be very easy to use via the config.
But, if you would like commands I will add them for you. I will also try and add a feature for the server icons so they change to. That would be cool.
Thanks for the suggestions :-)

Posted Feb 17, 2014This looks very very good!
Can you make it possible to use commands (optionally)?
Example:
/motd add [#] [MOTD] [#] = ID for new MOTD [MOTD] = The new MOTD
/motd list
/motd remove [#] [#] = ID for MOTD to remove
/motd icon [#] [#] = Link to new icon
&# color codes, as well as new line (eventually with \n) should be possible to use through commands.
I hope those gets added! :) I will without any doubt change to this if that happens. ;)
