Overview

With MonsterIRC you are able to connect to an IRC channel and use

that channel to monitor in game chat. You are able to:

The herochat 4 thing is just saying herochat 4 not found, it has nothing to do with HC5 (which is supported!)

As for the connection issues paste your channel configs and your settings here also try running monsterirc in debugging mode. Debugging: true in settings file.

Hey, I really like how your plugin is developing. I have an error, though. The console shows no errors whatsoever, it displays fine, except: "HeroChat 4 not detected." Does that mean herochat 5 is not supported?

Also, it says: "Attempting to connect to chat. Processing connection.... Identifying with Nickserv.... Successfully started up."

except, the bot does not actually connect to irc When I'm on the irc channel, there is no trace of the bot whatsoever. I have tried multiple irc servers, and different channel names. Messages from irc to game or from game to irc dont even seem to be reaching monsterirc...

I am running 1.57 with 1.2.4 RB with the latest herochat. Cannot get relay to IRC channel at all. MCMMO & Towny is disabled. still I get this error:

I am getting errors running the latest mcmmo dev with the latest MonsterIRC version.

Bukkit: 1.2.4 RB MonsterIRC: 1.56 Mcmmo: DevBuild #584

Possible explanation: Apparently MonsterIRC is trying to get the MCMMO player profile for some reason,

Is there a way to disable seeing the ChanServ commands? Such as when someone is given +o, etc.?

Hi

I only want one feature which is the ability for a player to opt-out of seeing the irc channel chat in-game. I currently use this to link 2 servers chats together and it is working very well currently but some people dont want to see the arguments happening from one server on another :P. I would really like this feature.

Only thing I'd like is to be able to color the prefix of the IRC chat in Minecraft, so it'd be like: [&dIRC&f]. Doesn't work like that currently. Awesome plugin btw.

Our prefixes and suffixes are now working correctly, but the way I had set up our formatting included "&2[IRC]&f" at the end of the name(to dictate it was coming from the IRC channel) and the color codes for that still show so I've removed them for now.

Also, for chat being sent TO the IRC channel our format ignores prefixes and suffixes and manually colors the name with &2, this works fine except for players that have a number as the first character in their name. The number is omitted so "1twothree" would become "twothree" it's not a big deal but still something I figured you might want brought to your attention.

I updated to 5.5 but the &f still shows and does not convert text to white color. All other colors seem to work fine.

I was just wondering when will there be a fix for the bug I reported before? I'm waiting for this plugin to be updated before I can upgrade to 1.2.3 it's the last plugin I need updated before I can upgrade.

+ one on this request. It seem that no matter how I set the formatting in HeroChat, it comes out in IRC with all the extra stuff. I'd like the ability to send messages to IRC so that they appear to be coming directly from the IRC user (so as to not annoy various folks in IRC channels).
